It seems the legal wheels are in motion. I've been permanently banned from Reddit for posting about it. Nothing particularly controversial either, just questioning the future of the band given this news, always with 'if this is true' in the sentence. No allegations or anything and I didn't even go into the specifics of it at all.
I can't see Reddit doing that unless they've been asked to? Or do the subreddit editors/mods get the priviledge to do that?
Wow, can't believe Reddit is censoring that. Thank goodness this forum exists and I hope it continues to exist.

I'm on the opposite side of the fence from almost everyone else on these. I really like The General except there's too many effects on Axl's voice on the bridge & chorus. I like nothing about Monsters besides the lyrics.
I don't know what side of the fence I'm standing at the moment. They both sound like crappy songs after a first listen. Will have to see if they get any better over time, lol

The 2006 leaks of songs like Better, TWAT, & Catcher...along with Axl's interview on Eddie Trunk's show. That is one of the most entertaining interviews I've ever heard. Axl was in a great mood with some funny stories. The forums were buzzing in a major way during that time period.

The vinyl release date is October 26/27. That's still 17 days from now. I would guess the streaming and other digital purchase versions will be available in late October. Releasing the digital version before the physical version doesn't make sense IMHO.
