Should have never been started in the first place...

CC makes a damn good point.  MTV is supposed to be about music, but on my Dish guide, i hardly ever see any shows about music on either MTV or MTV 2.

MTV and VH1 have become centered around shitty reality shows.

Fuse has become centered around bands that have zero creativity and absolutely no balls.

Let's not crap on TRL completely, as it was a descendant of "Dial MTV".  First time I saw/heard GNR was on Dial MTV with "Jungle" (it's first release on MTV, not the 2nd release after "SCO'Mine").

You'd get 10 full videos for the "Dial MTV" hour back then when it first started.  As the show went on, they'd skip some of the top 10 and only show some videos in highlight form.

Anyway, as I said earlier, "Jungle" on "Dial MTV" had me hooked on GNR and then the totally live show "...at the Ritz" (uncensored, f-bombs and all during primetime, with no commercials for the whole hour) on MTV made me a fan for life of GNR.

MTV sure isn't what it use to be.
