I will admit that one of the downsides to posting here with such a currently limited userbase is the feeling that you're posting in a vacuum. I come back every so often and am always left disillusioned by the fact that seemingly no one is around to want to converse with me, and when I do post it seems to be as a thread killer. Kind of disheartening and keeps me, personally, from coming back here more often. So I check in, am largely ignored, and step away for another year plus. Maybe if we were a more proactive community that encouraged active contributions to this forum, then it wouldn't be dying. Or at the very least wouldn't turn into the weird, debased political mumbo jumbo this thread has devolved into.

I still check in from time to time. I think the community is the real draw, not so much GN'R. And that's probably true for a lot of folks here.

Rest in Peace, Sir Roger Moore. My favorite Bond growing up, now, and forever. A big heart and a beautiful soul. The kind of man you do your best to emulate. Thank you for the warmth that you brought to this world. Nobody Did It Better.

I still like to sprinkle in quite a bit off the Illusions – Use Your Illusion I in particular is a car mainstay – plus a few tracks off 'The Spaghetti Incident?' like "Down on the Farm," "Human Being," or "I Don't Care About You." Depends on the mood. Once in a while I'll get the weird urge to play "If the World" or "Sympathy for the Devil." My taste in music is very eclectic and I listen to a lot of disparate styles. My all-time favorite artist is David Bowie. I like to establish a tone with what I'm listening to. Tonally, sometimes GN'R fits better than others.

He looks muscular. I was actually surprised at how good I thought he looks. He's clearly been working out hard, taking this seriously. Getting in fighting mode. He's definitely been using weights. I feel like some of us are seeing something completely different here. Axl looks healthier than he has in a solid decade.

Frank is a badass drummer and has been one of my personal favorite members of Nu Guns since he joined up. But I don't think they need Fortus. Or Pitman. I think Axl-Slash-Dave-Duff-Frank-Dizzy sounds like an awesome lineup

"The Last Fight" would be classy/cool.

I'm actually a fan of Ulrich Schnauss, and I think Riad is an underrated track overall.

"This I Love," for the third consecutive time. It's cheese. "Oh My God" is the best of this whole lot, save maybe "Better." And "Shackler's Revenge" is a beast and it's getting an awful lot of hate. Too bad. I guess my tastes run very contrary to the majority here.
#10 Re: Guns N' Roses » Slash and Axl friends again? » 480 weeks ago
Except Slash has always been a known liar. Or should we just reference his autobiography for the facts? I've always believed Scott. And I believe that German article, too.
