Such an embarrassment. This administration is the worst to ever be in power. The lack of spine from everyone in DC is worse. Trump, Miller, and Pete are going to burn us to the ground and half the idiots in this country will cheer it on and bring gasoline.

And now ICE agent  just killed some woman in MN in cold blood today.

I do find it funny that these clowns are going to run another country when they can’t even run this country properly.

The best matchups we've had in years.

Predictions....

Rams vs Panthers

I'm going with the Rams...but an upset would not be surprising. Panthers already beat them a few weeks ago.

Bears vs Packers

Bears in a blowout.

49ers vs Eagles

I hate both teams and wish both could be eliminated.

Going with the Eagles but this one is a tossup.

Bills vs Jags

This should be THE year for Buffalo without the Chiefs and Ravens in their way this time. Unfortunately for them,  they wound up as the 6th seed and have to face the Jags at home.

Jags and I don't think it will be all that close.

Patriots vs Chargers

Going with the Patriots but if any game in this round begs for an upset.... it's this one. This could be a shootout.

Steelers vs Texans

Going with the Texans in a low scoring game.

If the Steelers can somehow pull off a win....we may be witnessing Rodgers go on a final Superbowl run.

It's unlikely....but you can tell he really wants it.

I agree with most of these except for GB vs CHI and LAC vs NE (not a really disagree since you noted an upset is a possibility).

The Bears have won a lot of close games .  And GB should have never lost that second game .  Also there are some rumors that Lafleur could be fired from GB if he loses.

The Chargers are down to their fifth and sixth OT.  The Pats can’t rush the passer really well.  Other teams down the line might take advantage of this LAC flaw (Texans and Broncos), but not the Pats.  I also think Harbaugh outcoaches Vrabel.

I think Bills-Jags is game of the week.  I think Buffalo should be the fav out of the AFC but I don’t trust that defense at all. And if they get bounced that will be the main reason.  I’d also consider firing McDermott after the year .  You’re just wasting away prime Josh Allen years at this point.  And like you said , no Chiefs, Ravens and Bengals either .  His ceiling might be as a coach that gets you into the playoffs yearly but not enough for a SB win

IMO it's time for Henry to go to a different playoff caliber team. His time for a ring is running out.

It’s not really possible. The Ravens redid his contract and he’s basically stuck there for 2026.  He only fits a certain number of teams anyway and BAL is one of them.

He’s a two down back who doesn’t play 3rd down and can’t catch the ball .  He requires a good blocking OL because he needs lanes more than most RB.  He has build up speed and takes more time to get there.

He has two great skills ; he rips off those 10+ yards like no one else.  And he almost never gets hurt.  One major injury in 2021 , that’s it.

As far as problems with the current game, it’s too soft and the ref work is god awful .  It ain’t NBA bad but it’s getting close.

As far as the college guys getting paid, the system they have now is ridiculous.  Guys are just hoping from one team to the next and just seeing what team will pay the most or offer the most playing .  It’s just comical.

I don’t watch NCAA football anymore outside of the playoffs.

I’ll just respond to a bunch of Lofton’s points w/out quoting (sorry I’m lazy).

I think the AFC might be Denver. The other teams just look so unconvincing.  The second best team to me might be Houston.  I would have really shaky faith in the rest of the teams .  Would LOVE for LAC to make a run but they are injured as fuck and teams with OT5 and OT6 as starters usually fail.

NE is massively over performing.  Their RZ defense will be their downfall. I wish Buffalo played defense better. Something seems off with the Ravens.  I suspect that the last game w/BAL @PIT will decide the division.

NFC is easier it’s basically the NFC West teams .  The Packers aren’t totally dead yet w/the Parsons injury .  But they are def behind those 3 teams .  I got Rams, Niners, Seattle.   Seattle is last of those because I don’t trust Darnold in the playoffs.

Bears just don’t have enough offense.  It’s funny they are succeeding mainly with…turnovers and a power run game .  It doesn’t matter who the qb is.  It always comes back to that.  NFC south division winner not even worth mentioning.

Watching Avatar this weekend. First new movie I'm watching in 2 years. So much shit out there now. If it's not an old director I'm not interested. People working at studios today are fucking clueless. The art has been completely lost.

I was reading up on it a little and just the way it works now in terms of movies is quite depressing.  Also all the telecommunications/big guys just buy out the legacy studios.

look at all the big four /five movie studios : all got bought swallowed up by bigger media companies:

20th century Fox=disney

MGM=Amazon

Universal=Comcast

Columbia Pictures=Sony

Paramount=Skydance

They have pretty much cut down on physical media.  That’s killer for new films.  Matt Damon talked about it years ago.

Fernando really put up posters with his stupid kid for sale. That's a new low for the band.

Um, what exactly did he do here?  I’m not exactly clear what he did with the posters.

What I don’t get is why they don’t hire a social media person to hype/market this new stuff (songs) to casuals.

This is how you reach people today .  It’s almost like they are stuck in the 20th century.

They do have both a publicist (they're working with a PR company called the Orel Company) and a separate social media team.

But if the emails found in the court documents for the Kat Benzova case are an indication or a glimpse of how this works, they have to run everything with Fernando first, so they can't do anything without his permission.

It’s just sad that these people who have ZERO experience in managing a big name rock band are running this into the ground.

And they blackmailed their way into this spot too.
