As for still actually listening to the final album, I only listen to 4 songs.

They are way too cluttered as well but the songs are great and Bucket’s solos are killer.

Back to Love to Love…..tremendous song which is how the Chinese songs should have been mixed…..no fucking clangy trip hop beats….appropriate strings, killer clean guitar (that outro is so Buckethead!). It rocks as an epic ballad. And, last but not least, it doesn’t need 14 whiny guitars!

Every vocal you hear today is processed by pretty much everyone. Quite sure his vocals back in the day were processed. He sounds good and the song is solid.

He’s chunky but I think sounds much better on these songs than most of the recent Gnr stuff. You May Be Right is fabulous because he can sing mid register. Im happy with a Van Morrison Axl. 87-91 ain’t coming back so move on or try to appreciate that the dude is still alive and apparently well respected. All critical reviews are positive. Most everyone on here is too bitter to give Axl his proper respect. He’s just a different cat, that, in the end, does his thing his way…take it or leave it.
