I don't know about the other 2 books yet (finished Duff's today, started Steven's now, and Slash's is after that!!) but one of the things i keep remembering is that everybody was high, drunk, stoned, or both back in the day.  It's hard to figure out who is telling the truth (and then you add in managers, record label people, etc) and we may never know.  Take everything with a grain of salt.

I think the RNRHOF is going to turn out to be a big mess...but that is another topic for another thread.

WOW..i am so behind on all things GNR.  I am only 60% done with the book (according to my ereader).  Never even thought that Axl would redo the contract over the years.  Makes sense.  I always thought it was a power play by Axl to own the name GNR, but after reading how screwed up Duff, Steven, and Slash were...i now think it was more of a save the band name and myself.  I know Axl is no angel...but he might have been the only one not blitzed out of his mind.
