#1 Re: Guns N' Roses » Izzy tweet about Axl and Duff interview » 428 weeks ago
Sounds like he didn't even counter the offer of $40,000 for the 4 shows... I bet if he said "I need $80,000 and will bust ass to nail the songs and give it my all" they would agree.
The profit split right now is Axl 50% and Duff and Slash is 25% and this after all expenses are paid etc. Axl alone is not paying for Frank and Melissa... Their costs are factored in then the remaining profit is divided. But Slash and Duff are also get a cut on all that merch, much of which is Slash designs anyway. We all like Izzy, but no way he was going to bust ass like Slash and Duff to learn CD songs and give it his all. He should have done it like Adler and saw the big picture. Forever Adler will have been known to be involved and Izzy will be the cry baby.
So is that how Duff got this reunion back on track? He basically teamed up with Axl and secured himself an inflated value. And no wonder Axl is smiling so much if he's taking home 50% after expenses. Nice "friends" Slash has there.

I was just reading the Nighttrain thread, and people there were saying it was a good move because it "raised awareness". I wouldn't be surprised if some overzealous fans were behind this. According to mygnr it didn't come directly from Axl.
Either way, it should have been left alone. I've seen the memes much more since this thing blew up, and Axl's haters are going to town.

This is going to be the biggest tour in recent GNR history, I don't believe Pitman pulled out. He was happy to be onboard, his family also said stuff on twitter, about his daughter seeing her dad at Coachella. You don't get the wife and kids hyped up about your work if you don't plan to follow through.
Something happened.

Yeah, Slash and Duff didn't look comfortable. But Axl seemed to be enjoying himself.
It was a momentous occasion, not sure what to make of it though. I was ready for the F&F line-up, but it really seemed like Steven at least would appear. I too have come to realise how much he his missed, his energy adds something.

Is this an acoustic show? I just saw a photo of Duffy amp and Slash's amp and that was it on a small stage
Where is this picture? Why don't you post it here for the rest of the community to see.

So mygnrforum is down, did something new happen?

It'll be lame if it's full of celebs and media, but I don't mind them having a secret show.

Yeah, it's what we thought. Steven will guest some shows.
Tbh, I think Axl and Slash should be able to have a moment without having to carry the whole AfD line-up with them. This has been 23 years, and a massive saga between them. We've all discussed the issues at length, had arguments, theories, taken sides etc. Well, it looks like one of the longest running feuds in rock is over. Let them have a moment to shine and put it to bed, without having to worry about Izzy and Steven.

So is Adler in full time or is he guesting?
#10 Re: Guns N' Roses » Do you want Adler to be with GNR in Vegas, Coachella, Mexico City..... » 452 weeks ago
It's not necessarily loyalty to Frank and Fortus, I never got into nuGNR. But it would be interesting to see a line-up with them, plus Dizzy and the big three. If the fall out between Slash and Axl had not been so long, perhaps we would have got that line-up sooner, and with a few albums. Then at this point there would be an AfD reunion.
I just like the idea of F&F, the big three, plus Dizzy. With Izzy and Adler, the band isn't really going to do anything new.
