I think Americans are just way too hyper-sensitive to germs and being clean. Look, life is dirty. You have to develop an immunity to some of it. Don't worry about it so much.
You also can get worm that burrows into your brain and skills you if you eat shrimp. Ate it all my life, and i'm still here.
Yeah the whole hand sanitizer bit in America has gotten pretty out of hand, that stuff is going to Make you more sick than Prevent you from being sick
I don't use hand sanitizer or get a flu shot for that matter, and haven't been sick in over 2 years
As a culture, Americans have become so uptight about controlling the presence of all bacteria and microscopic creatures in their lives that they’ve harmed themselves. Anti-bacterial soaps, household cleansers and NOTSOMUCH may keep out some harmful germs, but they also kill beneficial organisms. Plus, over time, the bad germs develop an NOTSOMUCH because we’re overdoing it the chemicals. That doesn’t create an aesthetically appealing situation. Quite to the contrary.
