Any of you guys watch the draft?

Biggest story seems to be the Rams picking Ty Simpson with that 13th pick.

Getting a lot of shit for it...most of which I agree with. He does NOTHING for a team in "win NOW" mode.

The other big story seems to be Vrabel doing everything in his power to destroy his career just as it was looking like he was going to be one of the top coaches of the coming decade.

It's amazing how reckless humans can be with their lives.

I stopped watching old NFL games and switched to 1990s NBA...focusing on the Bulls first 3peat. God what a golden age that was. Wow. That 93: Bulls vs Knicks series is probably peak NBA.  Better than the finals.

Pretty solid set list though with the two new songs, Dead Horse, DOTF, etc. I feel like at least those two haven’t been staples at most shows.

Yikes.... it's exhausting just looking at the list.

The intro got zero crowd pop. Nobody (generally speaking) cares. The new songs got a better reaction.

It also sounds terrible.

It's time to stop playing 3 hour shows. I know it's part of their "brand" but no one is going to hear all this stuff and the quality of the show suffers.

Did anyone here ever get this?

#5 Re: The Garden » NFL 2025 » 11 weeks ago

That was just awful.

Drake had one of the worst performances in SB history. His crappy stats look better on paper.  He literally handed the game to the Seahawks on a silver platter. Not sure if his stats are as bad but I put this on the level of Kerry Collins in SB 35.

Should he have been benched at some point? Would it make a difference?

They didn't belong. Back in the day, this team would've made it to the playoffs, lost the wild card, everyone congratulate them on a good season, and they'd come back the next season and maybe take it up a notch.

In this era, they immediately make it to the SB and get trounced.

Everyone was right ....should've been the Bills year.   tongue

Having said all that, Darnold wasn't all that impressive. Smart (conservative) coaching won this game. They never went for it on 4th in any of those situations...just kept taking the 3....digging a hole that Drake/Vrabel couldn't  climb out of.

It was essentially over at 9-0.

Damn the Patriots offense is trash. 52 yards. It doesn't even seem like that many. Drake's as nervous as a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

They're damn lucky their defense is keeping them in it because this team is just begging to be blown out.

Did anyone watch the Pro Bowl crap?

I watched some highlights....pure garbage.

Just eliminate the damn thing.

Superbowl prediction

Patriots 24
Seahawks 13

This Epstein stuff is bat shit insane. What a world we live in where we just have culture war spats instead of global outrage and riots.

Bill Clinton getting a blowjob required nearly two years of nonstop coverage but the elite being involved in child sex trafficking and possibly torture/murder barely registers on the richter scale.

It shows how far we've fallen.

Duff confirmed in radio interview “there’s one more song from that batch” this week.  Has to be Monsters.

The final chapter writes itself at this point.

Basically what Jimmy said....leaks wrapped up in cellophane with Monsters added. Disagree on the covers. Nothing new will be added.

I doubt the songs even get a much needed remix.

The "package" will come out at some point during the tour ... probably near the holidays....and that will be the final album.

Kinda funny Duff had to chime in about Monsters. It means Slash either forgot about it and/or had no idea it leaked.  It shows how invested they are in this material.

Dollars to donuts.... Live Nation wants a product out for this tour due to low ticket sales and this is what they'll release.

Either way....the finish line is in sight.

I bet Oklahoma and Seven (and others) were never properly finished. Probably in a state similar to the Nothing demo or The General.

We're not getting anything new. These guys are not the Stones and no Hackney Diamonds are on the horizon.

lol that's that then. I suspect Nothing is the last song they will ever release. Slash and Duff comments in interviews over the next 2 years will probably sound like the stuff they said in 94/96 and it will slowly fizzle out.

Yep.....that's it.

While there's probably a couple more songs with vocals in the vault, it's now officially over with CD. If we're being honest, a song titled Nothing was the perfect song to bookend the saga.

I'm glad he said it. They could've easily kept blowing smoke up our asses with this drip feed. Fan base would've easily waited 2 years for the next drip.

They'll blow a bit of smoke about a new album and then just drop it completely as they head into the next world tour....more than likely the last.

It won't reach 95-96 levels because there's not enough people interested for them to bother. 99.9% of their audience are casuals who will buy tickets to hear Jungle, SCOM, PC, and NR. Most of them don't even know about the new songs they've already released.

It's leaks or nothing from this point forward.
