Yeah, they played Bad Apples, but Axl sounded horrible as expected. Full Mickey and out of time all over the place.

SMKC played this in Australia back in 2024 (at the show I attended), and knocked it out of the park. Shame that Slash’s side band does GNR songs better than GNR does them, but it’s true.

I dunno about that, but there is footage going round of Duff and Isaac rehearsing Right Next Door to Hell, as well as audio from outside the venue of the band sound checking it as well

Did they have someone stand in for Melissa?

For what? She doesn’t really do anything up there does she…?

Nothin and Atlas were debuted at the first show of 2026. The rest of the set was same old same old though.

Interesting! Just go without a second keyboardist.

“We hope our fans understand.” Lol, yeah I’d be selling my tickets because Melissa wasn’t there.

She’s been there for 10 years, and I still couldn’t tell you what she sounded like up there…

They’ll be fine without her

I hear what you are saying. I looked at the packages and felt the same thoughts. There is no real value in them. No separate VIP pit, so what’s the point.

Fortunately, the choice was made easy for me. There is no Perth date so I’m not going lol.

I thought of you immediately when I saw no Perth date. Couple that with the stupid non-VIP section, and I may just not go out of protest

So, tickets for this Australian tour went on sale today, and for the first time ever, I'm completely hesitant at purchasing tickets.

The last tour here in 2022, I bought VIP GA standing tickets, which gave you your own sectioned off VIP section, right in front of the stage.
Expensive? Yeah. Worth it? Absolutely. This VIP section allowed me to come and go to the bar, and go to the toilet, and I'd still come back and have access to the VIP front of stage section, with guaranteed great viewing.

But for this upcoming tour, that same "VIP" priced ticket, simply allows me 30 minute early entry to the venue, before the rest of the general GA section ticket holders (half the stadium floor), can access that same section up front.

So what exactly is this "VIP" price point worth then, if the GA ticket holder can access that same area in front of the stage (albeit 30 minutes after), as a VIP ticket holder can.
I guess they try and make the VIP ticket more appealing by offering crappy VIP trinkets and junk, as well as VIP laminate etc.

But really, I don't see any value in this VIP priced ticket at all.

Each tour here, the VIP ticket seems to get less and less included, while the price doesn't change.

Yeah, Brando is great. Lots of great content and interviews he’s done over the years

I read an article from a news provider here that GNR will be playing after the Adelaide V8 Supercar finale here in Oz on November 29.

I’m guessing if accurate they will then have some Aussie dates around that time to try and wring some more cash out of the market down here. TBH not sure how much more they could get tho.

Apparently a full Australian tour is to be announced soon as well.

Another interview with him https://ultimateclassicrock.com/guns-n- … -finished/

He talks a little more about the process of working on the songs. Also does the well worn high wire act of trying to explain the process of starting a new album without trying to say the wrong thing and piss off the boss.

No mention that the music videos for these songs are supposed to appear next month.

I laughed out loud at the comments about the setlists. Does he think we are completely stupid? The setlists are nearly identical for their entire run aside from swapping a few songs here and there. Does he really think we’re that gullible to believe they just decide them as they go?
