I’d love to see the list of songs MSL had that listed Tonto and Cuban Skies.

Curly Shuffle
D-Tune
Me and My Elvis
Zodiac

All sound like completed songs just lacking vocals.

At least we are pretty sure Zodiac had vocals recorded. In CD#2 from the Village Leaks is listed as "Zodiac 13 (no vox)"

Where is the connection between NR and TG Sebastian talked about. Ridiculous

It was quoted on a Rolling Stone article on 2008:

When Rolling Stone spoke with Sebastian Bach about the alleged Chinese Democracy leak, he reported that he’s heard “at least four albums’ worth” of finished Guns n’ Roses tracks, recalling a night in January 2007 when Rose rolled out new songs from midnight to 6 a.m. at New York’s Electric Lady studios. He says Rose told him that a slow, grinding track called “The General” is “the sequel to [Use Your Illusion II‘s] ‘Estranged,’ that goes to the parable that Del James wrote of the trilogy” (James penned the short story that inspired the “November Rain” video). “He’s like the George Lucas of rock,” Bach marvels. “I know for a fact it’s not him saying, ‘Let’s wait and work on [Chinese Democracy] some more. He has a whole new business team. Irving Azoff is in control, along with Andy Gould. They are trying to figure out the best way to put the music out.

I wouldn't put it past them to put these out.

These are certainly not line out audio rips taken from loose vinyl. So they're either 1.) old and it's from a gentleman collector with a cunning sense of timing, 2.) an insider leak used as a blocking strategy, 3.) a quasi-insider leak from somewhere in the supply chain.

Imagine if there are the DJ Ashba versions LOL  jk.

The best thing about the reunion was not that we got to see our Idols together, but that we will never hear anything DJ Ashba recorded with GNR. I can just imagine it and it makes me cringe.

So these leaks are clearly old, locker era songs.
Hoarders keep them really tight, the brings the question of what other things are in the vault.

The Cell clip is clearly Monsters.

I was right...the cell phone song was actually Soul Monster. Funny.

Bet the hoarders got a good laugh all these years.

For those of you having problems with the links...

Use Firefox. I don't see any ads.

After 1 listen...

The General sucks. Only song on CD it's better than is Scraped. This should've been released eons ago and never warranted any of the hype.

Soul Monster isn't bad. The music is pretty damn good. The guitar and bass is killer. This requires more listens.

I'm glad these are out now. We only need a couple more songs for full closure.

Def Monster is not the same song as "Me & My Elvis" AKA "Elvis Presley and the Monster of Soul" /  "Leave Me Alone" the same we previously thought was Soulmonster.

Another myth destroyed by this leak.

I can't believe I'm hearing The General.
It's much worse than I imagined, but it is like a closing a chapter.

Surprised that the party leak clearly was Monsters (or the reworked mashup between the two) not The General

What are everyone's expectations of The General?

Something in between Sorry and Prostitute. A good song, nothing earth shattering.
Its mythology is based in ONE quote by Baz, we are guilty for feeding this monster.
