Yeah, Pats will have played 4 of the top 6 ranked defenses in the playoffs alone. That’s crazy. Luckily their defense is playing great since Milton Williams came back, especially stopping the run. Spillane went down in the 1st half against Denver though & hasn’t practiced at all this week. His absence would be significant. Pretty decent dropoff from him to Gibbens.
Seahawks are a pretty comfortable favorite, and deservedly so, but I’d expect a close game. Seattle probably does have the better roster and team overall, but it only matters who plays better on Gameday. Who can hold their emotions in check and avoid making big mistakes?
The one thing on the Patriots side is they have played great defenses the last 3 weeks so they should at least be ready to go to battle one more time and know what they’re in for. JSN is ridiculous, probably not going to shut him down but need to keep him in check. Darnold has come a long way since his Jets days, but he’s still prone to turn the ball over. Need to force him into some bad decisions.
On the flip side, Maye can turn the ball over quite a bit himself & he hasn’t been sharp this post season. He’s done enough to get this far, but he needs to be a lot better in this game.

The second half a complete shit show... especially the 4th quarter.
Complete domination by the Patriots in the 3rd quarter...Broncos had the ball for a grand total of one minute.
The 4th was dominated by the weather ...from cold but perfect weather to near blizzard conditions within minutes. Pat's had the advantage with the 10-7 score...which wound up being the final score.
This is why backup quarterbacks going on playoff runs/SB wins is such a rarity...just not enough experience in big games. Couple situations where he could've run through a hole that would fit a diesel truck but he hesitated and that idiotic throw on their final drive for an INT. No reason to go for it all on that one play.
They barely even tried getting their running game going. Why?!?
It's now official....the Vrabel/Maye era has begun....
Looks like we’re about to be on Drake Maye throwing shoulder watch for the next week and a half. He hasn’t been sharp this post season and I attributed that to playing better defenses and in some pretty tough weather conditions, but he apparently came into the Denver game with something going on with his shoulder & a hit he took late in the 3rd quarter made it worse. No doubt he’ll play in the Super Bowl, but everyone is going to look at those first few throws with a microscope to see how he’s holding up. It’s been a long season, 20 games so far. Lots of throws and lot of hits. One more game to go and lord knows the Seattle D is not going to make it easy on him.

Music videos for both songs to be released February 7th
I don’t see any mention of music videos for those songs, just that there’ll be a music video feature airing. Could be just airing the catalog of GNR videos. Unless I’m losing context in translation

I must have lost my appetite because I haven’t tried to hunt these songs down the last few days. Are they much different and worth listening to?

Just like the other drip feeds, they can't even get a hefty portion of their own subscribers to click on their videos.
GNR have 13.1 million YouTube subscribers
Atlas: 649k views
Nothin' 827k views
About 10-15 of those views are me.
They are an anomaly. Most major acts get more views than subscribers.
While it's nice to get 1-2 songs every other blue moon, this approach doesn't work on any level. For various reasons, it's impossible to get any traction under these circumstances. It would require a highly unlikely incident where one of the songs go viral.
The band doesn't comment no matter what and the fan base tires of the new song(s) within days. With a non interested general public, where can the songs realistically go but down?
They're already disappearing from the Spotify charts.
But Team Brazil and Axl had brilliant marketing plan !
Delay the songs while they're touring and release them 5 months before their next tour date !
Also make sure you use the shit mix job from a guy (Caram) who’s been gone from the band's employment for 2 years !
Ha! It really makes little sense. Release singles in between touring cycles to help sell tickets for the next tour? Are they selling more tickets now because of these two songs? We’ll obviously take what we can get, but it’s puzzling.
And I’m assuming Team Brazil was behind the drone show to promote tickets going on sale for the tour. I’ve also heard there are billboards promoting the two songs in LA. So it’s like they do show signs of life but do nothing with the band to back it up. It’s silent marketing. It would almost make more sense if they did nothing because we know they’re not going all in.
They came out with a music video that no one expected for Perhaps. That was awesome. Then they came out with that AI video for The General. That was, something. They even had lyric videos for other songs. Nothing for these latest songs though? Meanwhile Monsters sits collecting dust. None of it makes much sense to me.

I guess it was just too early, Nothin’ is now #1 on the iTunes Rock chart & Atlas is #2. They’re all the way up to #5 & 6 on the overall chart. Initial buzz is there, but it won’t last when they do nothing with it.
That's amazing and you're right...they'll sink like a lead balloon because there's any follow through.
Look what happened with Perhaps. It was actually getting some attention that first day or two and then....boom...it was over.
The slide has begun. Nothin’ is #7 now & Atlas 10. They peaked at 3 & 5. Still solid, but there’s always momentum when they release these songs & they do nothing with it.

Update, Nothin’ jumped up past All I Want for Christmas is You to get to #3 and Atlas is at #5. Interesting that Nothin’ is getting more love than Atlas. I wouldn’t have guessed that prior to hearing Nothin’ in full. Definitely agree though. Song is really growing on me. Doesn’t hurt that they were somehow able to keep that one under wraps all these years for the most part.

I’ve bought all 6 new song on iTunes but I haven’t bothered with any of these physical releases. I’m happy to fork over $15 for a full length CD or whatever they cost these days. But I’m not buying all these random packaged releases. To each their own though, there must be a market for them. I’m old school and to be honest I wouldn’t even buy the individual songs if I had any faith in them releasing an album. That ship called Faith sailed away long ago though.

Whatever it is, it works for Axl. He's still alive and he seems to trust them. And he seems happy.
And they've got Universal and Livenation around them to guide them through the mechanics of today's musical landscape.
Everyone is flawed at the end of the day,
I agree. TB gets a lot of hate, and I totally get it, but I do think they’ve kept Axl sane over the years and in the business. Granted they let him work at his own pace, and don’t seem to push him in any real way but he had lots of issues with managers before they took over and he was obviously fed up with the industry.
Who knows how much of it is incompetence on the part of TB or if it’s more Axl only wanting to do so much. I mean they had a damn drone light show to announce the tour in LA. Was that necessary? It’s like they want to do things but certainly not to the level of most bands their stature. Is that their fault or are they doing what they know they can get away with?
And by the way, I am really digging Slash’s work on Nothin’. Seems like a song Axl could pull off live too, until he gets to the high parts. Sounds great in studio, we’ll see in a live setting.
