Yeah yeah Richard. A standardized GN'R answer. We're definitely gonna stuff in the future. If i was a mean person i'd say GN'R in a nutshell is a band that is 1. strongly living in the past when it comes to live shows, 2. always promising something great is going to happen in the future. Living in tomorrow or in yesterday but can't be here today. Jesus, come on guys. Not a celebrity or musician myself but it can't be that big of an obstacle to climb over and give an update about what's going on at the moment. Giving us even little pieces of concrete information can't do that much harm. It's not like they'd be giving away top secret stuff - it's only music.

Apparently Cage is just a big fan.
When did you first discover Guns N' Roses? What's your favorite Guns N' Roses song? What's your best Guns N Roses memory? What does the band mean to you?
Nicolas Cage [ Face/Off, Leaving Las Vegas, Drive Angry, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance] : I think Axl is one of the great writers of the last century; his piano playing is amazing and that song "Prostitute" is incredible! Guns N' Roses is outstanding.

Thanks. So Cage made the presentation out of pure respect. That's cool. I'm not a big fan of his acting but i gotta dig him as a human being.

Why Cage did Axl introduction? Is there a connection between the gentlemen or was him just a random celebrity who golden gods' production team lured to participate? Maybe i was raised in a barrel but didn't recognise most of the guys presenting nominees. A lot of old chubby men dressed funnily. I guess metal people are just different.

Yeah, and he showed glimpses of why I loved the guy back in the day. He seemed humbled by the award, thanked ALL the lineups, and tried to sing best he could.
Who knows, maybe thats the best he can do these days.DJ should fire his guitar tech though, giving him an out of tune guitar to play on Guns biggest tune is inexcusable
DJ should've stopped and started with an in tune guitar. Hell, Joan Jett replayed an entire song, I'm sure we could forgive replaying an intro
I still remember the day my dad bought me the UYI 2 LP. To a 9 year old boy it was wild and i felt like a badass with all the parental advisory stickers and everything. It was also the first time i was introduced to Michael Monroe.

To be honest, i'm not gonna watch this show next year. Amateurish production.
