Crazy that it's taken this long to get the pair of them to do a sit-down interview together.

What would they talk about though? It’s not as though they could talk about anything of note that Fortus has added to the band or new recordings?

I'm guessing it will largely be focused on their gear. Guitars of course as well as amps, pedals, rigs etc...

Enjoyed that! Band sounds fantastic and great to have pro shot footage of such an occasion. Drummer is elevating them and how nice to see them as a 5-piece - is that the first time since Farm Aid 1990? Get them in a studio - they are firing on all cylinders!

I recall Slash saying some time ago they were going to drip feed singles then release them as an album. Didn't sound definitive but this seems to be exactly what is happening. Nobody saw 'Nothing' as a candidate for release from the locker leaks so who knows how many more are in the pipeline? I wish they'd have just put them out at once - drip feeding removes all the mystery and anticipation out of an album release.

I've mentioned before also, I hope they remaster them consistently if released as album. When you listen to the singles one after the other, they are all over the place in terms of volume etc...

Is the video source above, in any way reputable?

Hope a reworked Atlas is in the pipeline - could be the best of the leftovers potentially.

The consensus is people who didn’t like Frank think he is amazing. The people who did like Frank think he’s fine. The reality is it doesn’t matter because you’re there to see Axl and Slash.

I, and many other fans, appreciate and listen to all instruments in bands I love. Drummers have a huge impact to a bands overall sound and feel. So a new drummer in Guns N' Roses, for me at least, is a big deal.

People i've talked to would be more inclined to go again this tour cycle had it been Matt and/or Steven. Isaac Carpenter won't shift the needle in terms of asses on seats.

That said, I wish him luck and hope he injects some new vibrancy and energy into the band. And maybe, just maybe, is the catalyst to get some creative juices flowing?

Farewell Frank.

Potentially exciting news. It is high time Guns N' Roses had a formidable drummer at the stool again.

Hoping for a Sorum/Adler hybrid. This might put a few more asses on seats but logic tells me it will be something/someone underwhelming.

Interesting. Does this guy have any modicum of credibility? I've always thought our best path to an album is a hybrid of Chinese leftovers, covers and various 'new' songs (could be rehashed 95-96 "Aerosmith on steroids"). Benny and the Jets?

And if that UFO cover is a barometer of whether Axl can still "bring it" in the studio.....hmmmmmmm
