Rick Dalton says my booze doesn’t need a buddy!
What was Rick drinking there? Frozen Margeritas? He goes out with a pitcher to tell the Manson family to get off his road.

I started Chanix a month ago to give up 20 years of pack a day smoking. I don't think I'll ever kick this addiction.
When I quit is when I got addicted to cheeseburgers and soda. Those first two weeks I was highly irritable! I would get 24 cans of beer ready for when you quit because you will need to take the edge off.

A good song is a good song.
Be nice to have Izzy at least credited on a song or two. They would kick ass and lend further legitimacy.
Still fascinated to see the involvement if any of Paul Huge.
I guess it’s run times and putting singles up front. First 5 songs on CD are the singles. Maybe not the right ones cos Catcher, Sorry, TIL, IRS, Madagascar might have been better. But those first 5 are rounded off.
Supposedly Axl has 3-4 of Izzy’s songs. I think instead of an experimental track do an Izzy acoustic, instead of a Bucket song like Scraped do an Izzy Rock n roll song. Bring in those AFD fanatics. It separates it. But maybe that’s the next record? They could have 10 more records if Axl just sang on Izzy solo records with Slash playing.
Huge could’ve written parts of Atlas and Perhaps. I don’t think may got a credit for Catcher. Maybe even State of Grace. Seems like a Huge/ Finck song.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see an Izzy or Huge writing credit. There’s normally a random writer too. Freese and Brain will pop up. Bucket certainly. Dizzy may have written that Perhaps piano. Whereas As It Began sounds like Axl.

I dont want Black Hole Sun or I Feel Good anywhere near this...
We don't need Spaghetti volume 2
I almost think they need to make more accessible in that way though. A couple of covers, acoustic sing a long like UTLH, a proper power ballad. This is One For The Masses. It needs to be Jukebox ready.
I was thinking that, maybe side 2. But also UYI and CD are shaped by vinyl versions. The Illusions and CD have 4 solid tracks 1-4 then side 2 of disc 1 is 3 or 4 tracks. Each side opens and ends with good tracks.
So more likely
Hardschool (RNDTH)
Berlin (DNB)
The Seeker (LNLD)
Atlas Shrugged (DC)then
Nothing or something acoustic (ITW)
Perhaps (twat)
Soul Monster (Catcher)Those first 4 songs are normally the best: Civil, 14, Yesterdays, HD - RNDTH, Dust, Live, Cry - Chi dem, Shacklers, Better, SOD - Hard, Berlin, Seeker, Atlas.
After the first 4 solid tracks they do something fun like GITR or ITW, a couple of rockers to make space for a epic like Breakdown or Monster.
Wichita seems like a track 13 before Ides of March goes epic.

Never went to AA or NA. I'm not that crazy. Meet the wrong (right) person and you'll relapse during a coffee break.... especially if it's a woman.
I did get on Suboxone years ago. I relapsed during my cancer scare in 2016. Now I juggle both Suboxone and Oxy.
I'll be an addict til I run out of road.
How does that work? I thought sub stopped oxy working. I don’t think I would have survived the 00s in the opioid era. Alcohol is more of a slow death.

True I’m not drinking heavily. I’m not that awesome.
I’ve been through the wine and gin and I’m back on the beer. Wheat beer. 3 or 4 cans watching football then try not to drink for a week. Red wine is good but it sets me on fire and hangovers are bad. Beer is easy street. If I stick on beer I’m fine but once whisky in the mix itsa a problem.
Sometimes I drink a random beer on the street but this is a huge cut back from 4 beers, wine and gin every night. I’m basically sober.
It’s Sunday so I’ll probably drink a box of wine watching sports.

I’d say The Seeker and Wichita are the singles.

I’ve been thinking about Once ....Hollywood and it’s just like the title suggests, what if Old Hollywood saved New Hollywood from Manson? Tarantino’s fantasy is the legit tough guy saves Hollywood from counter culture. But that’s it. The rest is just for fun it seems, follow the story you like.
