I just listened to it and their is a new vocal take from Axl.

Slash and Robin are both on the solo.

Think just a few new hey heys. Didn't sound like a new vox take as a whole

It's real. Recording of someone playing it is out there. I don't have it. Heard it once.

The news out of Maui is a fucking tragedy.

So many awesome historic places just gone. The city-block-long Banyan tree might not survive.

Mick Fleetwood’s restaurant, which was a cool Fleetwood Mac museum with vintage photos and instruments, is ash.

Fucking hell.

Yeah its fucked. I was there. Stayed in the area. Visited that tree as well. Crazy shit. Was going to be heading back next year too.

So if they actually play it, we should expect it on all platforms by midnight?

Probably would be Fridays. Those are release days for songs and albums now.

Really Richard? Still playing the “we don’t have a setlist” card, even though the setlist outside of a few songs has been the same for 7 years?

Just stop talking. It’s embarrassing.

By his press record, Fortus has been in the studio laying down tracks for the new album for the last 20 years. 16

I was reading a bit about the story this is based on and I must say the show is making a very poor adaptation of the plot lines.

The Crabfeeder in the book is just some Cortez type military commander. He takes over the islands and executes the pirates, then he starts charging toll for the shipping lanes. Eventually he gets greedy and charges too much and Valeryon wants a war with him.

In the show he is some type of Texas Chainsaw Massacre character and you get the impression he is capturing ships and executing the crews. In the book scenario you can see why the King doesn't want to get involved, but here? It looks like sheer madness to allow that stuff to continue, and I find it hard to believe any civilized power would support it.

Even though the lighting is horrendous, the sets and cinematography otherwise are fairly good. With a good book story to rely on they could have easily made this into a great show. I can literally see where the suits and skirts have forced in their ridiculous choices, overruling the show runners.

Rings of Power is just a bad show through and through, this show is sabotaged.

Where and on what were the showrunners overruled on? Where was this mentioned? GRRm is pretty pleased with thr show so far. Think that says a lot. Most books readers like the show. Few gripes about a change here or there. But again its a different medium. So far its a beast for ratings. Gaining more each week. It's been an entertaining show for sure. You just seem hung up to hate it. Calling people ugly before in a earlier post. Like what? Lol.

I do agree with rings tho.  Couldn't make it through one episode.

Fire and blood reads more like a history book than a novel. Which is what house is based on. I'm enjoying the show at the moment. I dont see as many problems as posted by others.

Indeed. Which is why I’m puzzled by the versions of events and changes they’ve chosen. How is Cole murdering Joffrey in cold blood in the middle of the throne room an improvement over killing him during the tournament after the wedding as it happens in the book? If you want morally grey characters, showing Daemon murder his wife and having Cole murder Joffrey doesn’t help.

The Strong boys were heavily hinted at in the book, but Rhaenys herself had brown hair instead of white. So there was plausible deniability. Daemon’s children being fathered by a Valaryion and looking like the offspring of a light skin and dark skinned person makes Viserys an absolute cartoon not to recognize their illegitimacy and disown Rhaenyra. Their entire agreement and why he continued her as his heir was because she agreed to be dutiful. There is zero question that Rhaenyra’s children are not Laenor’s. None. That’s incredibly problematic when you’re trying to get allegiance from a society whose laws afford bastards no inheritance right, and often executed a woman for infidelity.

Mushroom’s account of events was the most sensational and least credible, but he seems to be winning over the show runners.

I take it as Geroge giving mushroom accounts more weight. He is and was involved in the show. Like he was early GOT. I agree with the changes.. especially lack of tournament. But then again I see it as a different medium so different story. What makes sense for them for filming and budget and overall story pacing might not line up with the books 100 percent

Really want to see the hour of the wolf on the show and see what the show depicts as happened in winter fell when Jacaerys flies there.
