its not imminent but the seed has been planted.

the smartest thing for axl and record co. to do , regarding cd2, would be to release it in the midst of the reunion. more people will buy a gnr albumin the midst of a gnr tour they are going to or following and thats a lot of people if it is a "reunited gnr".

slash has been fielding reunion questions regularly for over a decade without batting an eye.  the fact that he is now silent gives credence to the weight of the situation and relevance to the rumors and speculation.

if he and axl are simply putting their differences aside as friends and there has been no talk between the two of them to share a stage again he would have no problem saying so in an interview.

I think beta's and axl's relationship has been more personal and less professional for the majority of their time together and this is a case of Axl impressing upon Beta that he is the boss and he wants to take some pictures. Being a manager means you work for Axl and you do what he tell you to do and I think that can be conflicting to Beta at times due to the recent redefining of her responsibilities.

BETA:
"5 minutes to take pictures and that's it".........
"Ok, we dont have the time"
AXL:
"Beta were doing it"
BETA:
"Yeah I know"
AXL:
"It doesn't matter if we have the time or not. We're doing it."
BETA:
"Yeah I know."

At this point Beta is speaking to axl in a snotty voice and struggling with the camera. Axl is looking at her like I look at my son when he doesn't want to do something and I am making him do it and he starts acting incapable because he doesn't want to make the effort to do what he doesn't want to do.

"We need to keep moving."
BETA
"Yeah I know....that's the thing."
AXL
"No, you guys need to manage it."

Right there is when she becomes more assertive and vocal with the fans and begins getting the pictures done quickly.

It seems we're are all unanimously appalled by the content of the text as if it were sent to us as fans, personally. I think WHO the text was sent to is of equal importance towards analyzing this, as fans, because it reveals relevance, meaning, and motive.

"I'm glad everyone is happy with stolen material.  Well, I guess that's it.  We don't need to put anything out now. Everyone took the fun of everything.  MSL and co will pay for what they did"

if the text is being confirmed behind the scenes, she's gotta be talking to a player close to the boards and fans, not the record label. I'd take it under that assumption to mean nothing more than a threat meant to stop msl and the recipient of the text from leaking more.

My guess is msl has more but only shared these insignificant pieces with the leaker, possibly in confidence, to avoid trouble.
gnr can always claim to have more than the hoarders, whether they do or not, and use it against them in order to control things, especially when the person in possession is a fan, such as msl, but it shows their desperation when they do.

If it were sent to a label rep i'd call it an official and contractual cop out on new material and an acknowledgement as just that.
