Saw this on my way back from lunch today here in Shinjuku, Tokyo.  Going from memory, it was a pretty short clip using mostly Jungle and Sweet Child videos and music.  This frame with the logo was somewhere about halfway.  After that it had a frame of Japanese text saying first album in 17 years and then cut to a text on a fire background that said Chinese Democracy and the Novemeber 22nd release date.

I would've taken a movie of it, but I forgot to put the SD card back in my phone.

I guess it's getting decent promotion here.  Most of the Tower Records stores have had little signs and stuff saying its coming.  Now this.  I wouldn't be surprised to see giant posters in the train stations later this week.

Perhaps my browser presents the problem with chat.  I rely on Safari.  With all of the equipment I am surrounded by, you would think that something would allow me access.  Instead, I can reach 130db but not the outside world.

Again assuming we're buying into this, is he sayign he's in a recording studio?  Surrounded by lots equipment...can reach 130db?  Though correctly it'd be dB...

I didn't have any trouble connecting at work today, but now at home I'm getting the same thing as you Tommie.

I think this forum is fake and none of you actually exist.

Except Lofton.  But he's a computer.

Well, Imposter was insinuating 13 tracks with his thirteen points of light bit.  I guess the release of the official 14-track tracklist but the kaibosh on his visits.

i dont like this new logo....that seems too "first year of college" kind of thing to me...

Very much agree!  Amateurish.  And reminds me of the circus for some reason.

Maybe we should've let Axl know we were available....?

I guess it's just a logo for the album though, because the Chinese characters on the banner there mean "Democracy".

Whoa, James, you feeling ok? big_smile

I've always thought that because of your passion for Buckethead, you've never really given BBF a fair chance.  Glad to see you looking at it a bit more objectively now.

You made some great points there.  Based on interviews and such, it never sounded to me like BBF intended to replace Bucket.  I've always thought he was just adding his own touches - in one interview he mentioned adding "sleaze guitar."  Seems to me that this is just what CD needed.

Axl approves.

What the shit?!  I've had the GNR page bookmarked all this time, but my bookmark was opening the GNR Reacts to Arrest page.  Now I know what you guys were talking about in the other thread. tongue

That is awesome!

You're not the only one, brother!  These are some exciting times!

The mods have done a pretty damn good job of combining all the stuff that's cropping up, and trying to make sense of it all.  Keep up the great work guys!
