IMO Martz was part of the problem. He is way too quick to abandon the run, and of course, that seems to not be what the head coach is about. He seems to want to go towards a more balance attack. Unless you have Marshall Faulk, Kurt Warner, Torry Holt, and Issac Bruce (in their primes) on your team, I wouldnt touch what Martz is all about.

PA, I would normally agree with you, but I really dont see anyway that they could have passed on Calvin Johnson this past year. I certainly wouldnt, no matter how bad a I bungled the previous drafts with WRs. If Johnson can stay healthy next year, he is a stud. Watch the Lions draft a QB in the first round, and that QB and Johnson will grow together in the league and put nice numbers up.

They need an album out bad, but I'd go see them with or without new material. I love GNR too much to miss a show I have an opportunity at. But everyone's not like me.

Yeah I think the Bills are definatly on the right track. Just keep building. Lynch can be the guy you build around on offense. You have a pro bowl left tackle and we all know how hard those are to come by. Edwards has shown enough as a rookie to warrant giving him a chance.

Giants are going to win next week... Book it.

Yeah Giants lost 3 guys but still not sure how severe the injuries are. The play by play guy for the Giants said he didnt think they were serious after the game. He spoke with the players. My guess is they may have been able to return, but Coughlin didnt chance it in a "meaningless" game.

Good game, but some very bizarre officiating. Take nothing from the Pats though. THey did show why they are a GREAT team. I am still trying to figure out how Amani Toomer got a personal foul on the sideline when it was clear as day that the Pat fell down on his own. And how does a player not get penalized, much less ejected for poking an opposing player in the eye? Refs blew that one.

Congrats New England.

I hope Eli build off of this game. Definatly a confidence booster for the whole team.
