I am so sick of reality tv shows, (DTJ you're off the hook with Ghost Hunters, it's a cool show and definitely not in the same cesspool as the "reality" tv shows in my opinion) you can sell the average viewing audience anything it appears. I'm afraid PaSnow is correct, with the writer's strike it's only going to get worse. Creativity on television is at an all-time low.

What other sites (GNR related or not) is everyone a member of?
Most of my Guns N Roses posting is here but I am a member at varying levels on all the major GNR forums and a few more obscure ones. Other than that I post at a couple horror fan sites, a Writer's forum, Megadeth.com, and Jerry Cantrell's forum.

Damnit, I've played a really good game in the first round of the playoffs but now it's going into "dickover mode" and fumbles, dropped balls, the other team nailing a 62 yd field goal, you name it ... I'm getting screwed harder than Lindsay Lohan at a frat party.

One of my FAVORITE Soundgarden songs and beats the fuck out of Barry! 
Long Gone Day - Mad Season
This song is fucking incredible. That whole Mad Season album, and their few live performances on Youtube, are extremely talented. Long Gone Day seriously compares to the AIC hits... Layne's brilliance is easier to hear with Mad Season because it was often just him with no power chords or harmonies to make him seem better. He's alone on 2 or 3 of these tracks and man is he on his game.
Excellent taste CC. Alone/River of Deceit/Wake Up/Lifeless Dead...all insanely perfected to the max. I have the Live at the Moore dvd which is basically an early gig by Mad Season caught on film, if you want to see an excellent performance by them check it out. I also have a lot of high quality boots of all the songs from Mad Season plus a few songs that were not on the album. Layne's briliance is at its peak on this album and Dirt (followed closely by Sap) in my opinion. I hope to have some serious uploading starting in a couple weeks. I'll make a Mad Season thread and hook you up. If you would like to (cough cough) borrow my dvd in the meantime ... let me know.

I think Silkworms died a horrible death. Wasn't that the really fast screaming song?? Absolutely no desire for KOHD III, didn't like KOHD on UYI anyway. Wouldn't want USSR, don't know much about Sailing or Sway. Rusttcb I would like Better Acoustic if it was all acoustic (a la Lies & the early NR demo) not the same song but with Robin playing an acoustic guitar, then all the other parts still in there. But yeah, I'd be cool with that. I didn't hear that rumor.
Yeah, Silkworms wouldn't be one for my taste either but a fake intro that was supposedly studio went around the forums over the summer and alot of people went wild. I wasn't one of those people.
We Are Sailing was performed by Axl excellently and I would like a studio of that one. Sway was really good too. My biggest wish-list for leaks would be things we haven't heard yet.
I think that Better (acoustic) might have been from the Rosario Dawson birthday gig. Supposedly someone recorded the show but I've never seen any real evidence of it.

I thought they only played 4 songs live, all of which leaked. Anyway, I'm torn on this, if we get 2 or 3 new songs, that's almost the whole album of leaks. Makes CD kinda useless at that point. Anyway, i wouldn't care to get another version of Better, or IRS or whatever... Wouldn't even bother downloading it. So count me as one who'd want a new song. Something we've heard of, like This I love or Sorry. Really though, I just want the album, something tangible. Leaks can be kinda crappy with some burned CD, it's just not the same for me. After a few years of letdown something really cool happened in early 2006... LEAKS from Chinese Democracy. All of a sudden a fresh life was booming at the forums and hope and expectations were at an all-time high. Things slowed down again and then we got leaks in 2007, this time it was music we had already heard but they were studio versions and the fanbase once again became energized.
It's 2008 and the buzz has once again died down and many fans are distraught. Think we will get a three-peat and some more leaks will be just around the corner?
What's everyones opinions on this? If you are taking the optimistic approach and do believe leaks are coming soon what would you like to see? Songs we have heard only live but now their studio counterparts leaked, songs we have heard the titles to or songs that we knew nothing of prior to now?
