It's been a while since I took a look at the artwork for UYI, but isn't there a special "thank you" from Axl to Slash in there for the killer guitar melodies?
Yeah, but they thanked tons of people in the artwork that had nothing to do with the songs.
There must be a difference or Slash wouldn'tve wrote anything about it in his book.

Check it out.
Yeah but it's 3D Jolie isn't it?
It is a nonissue.
She still looks good.

Slash actually mentions November Rain in the book. About how they recorded it for Appetite, but it was 18 minutes long, and that he uses the same solo now that he did back then.
He also mentions writing guitar melodies for NR, Estranged, etc, and not getting any writing credit. He was a little concerned, but let it go because they were actually moving forward.

if you havent been a fan since the mid 90's then you should check them out for sure, you'll prolly be surprised how metal he has gotten...like old school metallica/megadeth shit
I agree with this 100%. TWNAH has Disconnect, Return to Hangar, When, Dread and the Fugitive Mind and Recipe For Hate...Warhorse, neither of the following two albums (in my opinion) have that many "out of the park" hits on it. The System Has Failed has three solid songs with Kick the Chair (which is really just a reworking of Take No Prisoners from R.I.P.), Truth Be Told and The Scorpion. United Abominations has Gears of War, You're Dead and Never Walk Alone. All three albums are solid but I think after TWNAH each has been a little lesser than its predecessor.
Ha, I like most of the songs off The System HAs Failed. The only ones I don't like are I Know Jack, and My Kingdom.
Don't get me wrong, The World Needs A Hero is great, but it just seems quickly put together, but like I said, that is some flawless production.
And United Abominations...it's my favorite one behind Rust In Peace!

The World Needs A Hero better than The System HAs Failed AND United Abominations!?!
BLASPHEMY!
Nah it's kinda funny though because the general consensus in the Megadeth community is that TWNAH sucks. I like it though, and think it has flawless production. I do like TSHF and UA better though.

Oooh boy, the new album is heavy.

I'm not sure what my favorite album is.
I like Cryptic Writings a lot, some good tunes on that.
But UA is a great return to their heavier shit. It's got great riffs, solos, and lyrics.
Yeah, I think I'll go with United Abominations. That, and Rust In Peace.
