Buckcherry.

Slash's playing isn't dated. It's classic. It'll never go out of style.

I recently picked up Gregg Araki's "Smiley Face" starring the always aborable Anna Faris. I've always loved Araki's stuff. He's one of my favorite filmmakers. It's too bad "Smiley Face" didn't get a theatrical run outside of, I think, one theater in LA. Anyway, the flick was pretty damn funny. It's the first movie of Araki's he's directed from someone else's screenplay. After the powerhouse that was "Mysterious Skin," I think he was looking to just cut loose and have some fun on a cheap, quick little shoot. It's tone is most similar to his previous comedy "Splendor," but lacks the Araki touch of that movie, which is here replaced by a much broader, stoner humor. But it works for the movie. It's just a fun time. Check it out.

Hey guys, I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I used to have this photo in a much higher resolution. I'm growing my hair out and I'd like to use this photo of Gilby as an example of the kind of layers I want, something my hair stylist has gotten wrong every time. If anyone has a hi-res of this photo, send it my way. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks 9

I voted red. I love me some redheads. Still, I could easily vote other. Something about a punker chick with dyed hair always gets me. I hate punk music though. I'm just in it for the women. Yeah, that's right. I said it.

Dudes, c'mon. A lot of us have that "punk rock" phase or whatever in high school. It's especially tempting with a record label waving bills in your face telling you to go all out for the kids to buy your albums. She never explicitly said she was punk or that she made punk music. Maybe to a then 17 year old girl, what she was doing had a punk rock leaning to it. I dunno. I'm not sticking up for her being a bitch ass to her fans or whatever, but the punk poseur thing gets a little old. And I'm not even talking about any comments made in this thread, these are just my feelings in general. She's a pop artist. Some of her songs are a little bit rock, I'll give her that. As a pop artist, she's really not so bad for what she's making. Besides, she's the motherfucking princess.

And she's hot as all hell. I've had a crush on her since her first video way back when 20

Just follow King Dick's advice and live your life. That's what I do. If it comes out, it comes out. I'll be sure to pick it up. Guns N' Roses has always been my favorite band. It would be badass to get a new album, but if not ... we've already got a few great ones to listen to forever. Make no mistake, I want to hear something new from Guns just like anyone else, but what I don't get is this whole "That's it, I give up on the band!" mentality. What does that mean? Who does that hurt? I mean, what are you giving up on, the waiting? So don't wait. Mark my words, everyone who ever threw their hands up in anger over the wait will still be picking up their copy if and when this thing comes out. What I'm saying is, let's all just lighten up. If it comes out, it comes out. It'll be a great day. If not, stay healthy. Be cool. I don't know how else to say this.

If that's the fan edit, it's leagues better than I ever expected. Even as a professional video, not too shabby. It's not my style, but it's the most rocking I've seen the VR guys in a long while.

I think Trent's exploring a much more effective release strategy for Ghosts, a model the Saul Williams album was almost the launching pad for. It got the kinks out. This is quite brilliant for what it is. I haven't been able to get at the tracks yet myself, but I've got to be honest, even as an avid NIN fan this release sort of underwhelms me. Still, I respect and support Trent, but what I'm really looking forward to is the official sequel to Year Zero.

I'd like to know how this has deteriorated into a bloated pissing match for people to try and argue their opinions as fact with such condescending "I will word this better than you and therefore I am right" glee. Some of us like the leaks, really like them. Apparently some of us don't. That's all. I really, really like them. I'm not wrong. And so ... thank you. Go back to talking about the guy who claims to have the "finished" album.
