Come on...

Here in Brazil, only the original cover was released. Actually, the cross cover was released as a bundle with Lies, but is a very very very rare item. This bundle has the same EP that was released on Japan, with Shadow Of Your Love and Whole Lotta Rosie.
Anyways, here in Brazil you can easily find the Appetite original cover in vynil for something along the lines of 10 to 20 US dollars.

-D- wrote:You're A Lie went from 26 to 18 this week on Active Rock Chart!!!
up 266 plays
Jumped from 30 to 18 on the Mainstream Rock Track.
HAHA its already crushed "Better"
not to say I was right..
You're a Lie is at number 19 on Active Rock chart... but gained 210 more plays
It jumped from 18 to 11 on Mainstream Rock chart
Approaching CD chart position.
WOOOOOOOOOOO
I hope you know that charts are completely buyable and not spontaneous due to public demand.
Record company support (and also the artist's effort on interviews, private gigs, promo at all) is REALLY important, which Chinese Democracy did NOT have and I'm sure Slash's label is supporting him.
Of course Axl didn't help Chinese promotion but neither did Universal.

Jarmo's gonna hate it hahaha
He's a huge Lannegan's fan and also a huge Slash basher...
He must be really mindfucked right now...

If these are legit I'm Axl Rose from now on and don't you dare stopping me from getting into the hall of fame.

Folks, please don't feed the troll..
Bono is 100% on spot on this...
At first I thought he was our own htgth's HBK but then it became annoying.
I think everyone can agree that Finck was important to Chinese Democracy, being it in a good way or in a bad.
And everyone can agree that old songs, live, now, with Ashba, sound more similar to the way Slash played 'em.
Whatever else is opinion and everyone have their own. I already ranted on how I think Finck (and to a extent Bucket) was Axl's way out of Slash's and GN'R's old way but he, Axl, failed to pursue that Holy Graal of a new direction, spent years cutting, pasting, recutting and repasting CD sessions instead of moving forward and I HOPE we won't be stuck much longer on nostalgia and I have a strange feeling that a new album will be announced/released in 2012.
If not, I'll keep Gn'R as my favorite band as a teenager and keep how CD saga and what I believed Axl once was for carryig the name meant to me personally in between 97 and 2008 as a memory and will become a casual.
As I said before, I've already travelled 30+ hours to see this band live and in June I'll be in the same town as GNR, my hotel is a 5 minute walk from the venue and I have no intention on catching them playing the same concert I've already seen 3 times.

DJ is alright but Robin has more style/uniqueness to him.
Richard can play the DJ/Slash style, they don't need 2 players with the same style.
THIS.
And, also, I'll go ahead and share my pov on what Robin meant to Axl/GN'R:
His unique style was a way to rebuild GNR into something different and, imo, that always teased Axl, even if he can see limitations on Robin, but, also, do you guys remember GNR videos from 86? Slash was crappy as well... I guess Axl recognized that same uniqueness but in raw form. I'm not comparing both, I'm just pointing that upon being with Axl, Robin and Slash were raw and unique. I guess Slash was able to develop, much due to stardom, his style and refine it as possible.
To me, when Robin bailed in 99 something changed and Axl decided to go with Bucket so he would have both technique and uniqueness but no raw.
As said previously, most songs on CD have important contributions from Robin.
I guess Robin in GNR was an experiment and, if in a controlled environment, would have worked in the long term.
What's a control environment? If it wasn't GNR, if it was Axl's or a new band altogether.
GNR has too much pressure and I guess Robin decided to walk away after '07 because the guy has had enough on the 10 years he was with GNR. Too much disrespect from the fanbase and casuals on concerts, online and even personally.
He always seemed, to me, a genuine nice guy and someone who could bring something not logical or expected to the table and that always amused me. Better's intro, on the album, live with him, DJ or Santa Claus playing, is different, is not the "write a guitar intro to a tune" type of vibe. It's so raw, nude and pure that I can see some seeing it as bad or even amateurish.
To be honest, amateurish is the artistic way to be, imho.
Just my (awfully long post) 2 cents.

That moment when goes front to solo and the camera guy, I suppose, yells "YEAH" gave me goozebumps.
Yes, I'm Robin's little bitch.

Well.. in 2001 I traveled 2000 miles, by fuckin' bus (30+ hours) to catch Rock In Rio 3.
In 2010 I waited Axl to hit the stage in Porto Alegre, my hometown, during a 4 hour delay.
In 2012 I'll be in Milan at the same place GN'R will be and, unless something alongside a miracle happens and they announce a new album and start playing new songs, I'll not attend.
I know it's me but it might be getting into the casuals as well... How many have had GN'R in their town already? And how many are not going to this round?
I know others will attend and most concerts will sell just the same, but every passing day without new news, Axl is losing supporters.

Agree, I don't see no chemistry there.. Looks like a meeting at the council with your ex about a parking ticket you took with her car
