i wouldn't say it sounds like he doesn't - the context seems to be more casual and fun n games as opposed to getting down to the truth. don't forget about slash going to axl's house in '06. he didn't admit to it happening at first. it doesn't mean he went directly to get the old band back together but it was a huge sign that he wants to let bye gones be just that. he certainly didn't go there for tea - it's not like they hung out as friends when they weren't on tour or recording.
If Axl called Slash to reunite I think Slash would do it in a nansecond. With Azoff on board anyone that says a reunion won't happen are simply in denial. Ain't saying it's gonna happen this year but it will and in a not so distant future. Like I said before, I hope if they reunite that it won't be just for a tour.

Chris is one of the best things that happened to GNR.
If you listen to those 2002 soundboards of The Blues you can hear the Lusk influence. Better is a prime example of having Pittman's fingerprints all over it.
While he's definitely not the worst thing to happen to GNR let's be realistic here, he ain't the best thing to happen to GNR either.

i really doubt we will see a reunion any time soon...if anyone ever reads any Slash interviews he pretty much shoots it down every single time with out a shadow of a doubt...axl and slash are just on oposite ends of the spectrum right now...slash has a 3rd VR disk and a Solo album...Axl is trying to get the CD era off the ground....

A reunion is a lot closer than we all think unfortunately. I think we'll get a reunion in a not so distant future. And if we do I hope they won't pull a The Police trick and tour and then that's it. If they are to get back together at least give us a new album.

I'm not saying it isn't interesting (even though he's the worst thing to happen to GnR since Paul Huge). I just can't believe there isn't something more exciting to discuss than this on the verge of CD's release.
Wrong. The worst thing to happen to GNR is Dick. Well the most unsignificant anyways.

Will the deal be that CD will only be exclusive to BB in the States or will it be valid in Canada as well? What about the rest of the world? Will it be exclusive to BB outside North America?

Alright Gnfnraxl, you made up for it. We are all square. Axl backs out of this or fucks this up and we can both stalk him, capture him, and promptly beat him to death. I just want the whole saga over.:beer::peace:
Beat him? Man I ain't getting my hands dirty on this one. I'll do you one better where we could both sitdown have a beer and laugh real hard. I say we bring Slash over to Axl's house and have him play Libertad to Axl while begging him to join VR. Now that should teach him a lesson. Like I have said all along, I see no reason whatsoever for this album not coming out in 08. But let's still be cautious. All signs are now pointing to Nov 23rd and even I am starting to believe this a little. Even if I said that window was shut. I am pleasantly surprised. But let's wait to hear more. BTW anyone checked what temperature they have down in Hell?

I have a question. Is CD gonna be exclusive only in the States or in Canada as well. What about the rest of the world? I ask because I don't know if there are Best Buy's outside of the US and Canada.
FlashFlood I would guess we'll get the tracklist in the pres release GNR will do on their site. As well as the single and everything else. If MTV is running with this we may actually be very close to the finish line.

Since Billboard is reporting this as well as the other site (I forget the name of the site) this rumor could be the tip of the iceberg we're all waiting for. AndI'm pleasantly surprised about Nov 23 being the date. Releasing this on a Synday is indeed original. Kudos to Axl, Azoff and BB if it is true. Hope you enjoyed this post madagas.

I am not basing anything on that article....it's all the other shit over the last year that clearly says "this is it".....a TON of things all pointing in the same direction. This is as close as we have ever been and I have followed this shitstorm intimately since 1994.....and yes, you are complaining and do so in almost every post and every thread.
We were close in 06 as well man. Again an official statement would be nice. I agree that EVERYTHING points to a release or almost everything but sadly in GNR's world that don't mean squat until we actually see this album in stores. Will I fall out of my chair if it is released this year? No, I'll even be glad. But I won't fall out of my chair if we end up with no album this year again. And to close this if you do not like my posts then I kindly invite you to not read them. You are entitled to your opinons and so am I. If you can't live with that well that's your problem.:peace:
