Wouldn't that be a bitch if it was the Record Co. fault for the last year
The more I think about it, even if it isn't the record company's fault, that might not be a bad way to spin it when it does eventually come out.
People are pissed that Axl has sat on the thing/not communicated/etc. If Axl backed by the record company came out and said that record company/business/legal issues were the reason for some of the delays, people are less likely to be pissed specifically at Axl.
Which makes them less likely to say "Fuck him, I'm not buying that album".
They're just pissed about the corporate structure, which as Rock fans, it's a pretty good chance that they were anyway.
Just a theory anyway

In the offseason they should offer Brady Quinn to the Bears for Urlacher. They wont get him of course, but the offer would show the rest of the league they are willing to deal him to a team that needs a QB for one of their top defensive players.
Quinn has not been tested yet in the league, but he was a top pick and since he hasn't played a down yet he still has that "unknown" factor. Could be great, or could be a bust. There's gotta be at least one team that would take that risk.
The Bears wouldn't give up Urlacher, if for no other reason, the amount of merchandise with Bears logos on it he sells. He's a great player too, but he was the top selling player jersey for a couple years straight. I think he's still up there pretty high.
A similair scenario might work like you said if they were to offer him up for a couple of the Bears Defensive Backs though. If the Bears can get all of the ones they have healthy they have quite a few above average (not great, but above average) DBs, that's something they could spare, and, especially in that division, the Browns could use.

Evidently Tool and The Police played it this year, so It's not as much as a hippie fest as I thought it was.
Still pretty jam band filled though, which is probably why I thought that. The line up was actually really varied.

By the way, that's the line-up from this past June, not the one they're talking about here

Isn't Bonnaroo usually a hippie/jam band kinda festival?
Led Zepplin kinda doesn't quite fit the bill, and Metallica definitely doesn't.
Maybe I'm thinking of a different festival though.

Yeah, I totally missed the SNES part before. That alone should have told me it wasn't 1942, that game came way before SNES.

Since we're talking about old nintendo shit, anybody remember this side scrolling game. You were in a little yellow jet and you just had to shoot shit and avoid obstacles. I forget the name but I used to play it all the time and I must find it again!
Sounds like "1942" to me
I googled it to make sure I got the year right. Because I can never remember for sure.

Green Bay only lost by 10, but TO let a touchdown slip through his hands to become an interception(popcorn butter mabye?) and some other Cowboy receivers just flat dropped what would have been some big plays in the 1st half. The cowboys should have won by about 21, given should doesn't count for shit, but it's still true.
It was pretty apparent that Aaron Rogers doesn't run a lot of 2 minute drills in practice though. He's an NFL QB, he should know they're gonna give him that slant across the middle all day at that point and not throw it. Not that I think he could have marched them down the field twice though.

"If that aint country, I'll kiss your ass..."
David Allan Coe's playing here in a couple weeks. I hope I get a chance to go, but with all the holiday stuff I'm not sure. I've seen him before, and it was a great show.

This is an odd bump of a thread that it seems only two of us gave a shit about anyway... but...
If anybody hasn't heard Johnny Cash's version of NIN's Hurt you need to,even if you generally hate country. Also, if you have heard it and haven't seen the video it's just as good as the song.

Especially creepy/really cool when you think about the fact that both he and his wife were dead within a year or so after this.
