That didn't sound very convincing to me. Hopefully, Duff gets to be Slash's bassist for his solo project, cause it's going to be huge.

I've recently experienced a resurgence in my Star Wars fanatasism
i recently purchased the prequel trilogy online for $30 for 6 disks
i watched everything! even the special features and man i muist say Lucas is a genious,,,i wasnt overly fond of the prequels before but after watching them again they are fucking brilliant!
and the people that made those films a reality need to be commended for their fantastic work...did anyone know that there are points in episodes 2 and 3 where some characters are fully rendered and not really people? i was in shock when i was watching these documentaries on the bonus disks
and the lightsaber duels in 1, 2 and 3 are amazing...especially the obiwan/darth vader one in epi 3
additionally the new clone wars cartoon is really good stuff
Man this is so randombut I rewatched all the starwars again lately even the clone wars film and am starting to watch the clone wars cartoons and series now too. I LOVE STAR WARS. I think Episode 3 is my favourite of ALLL 6 films. They are so underrated. I even been on wookieepedia.com a lot rading up about charecters that don't even appear in the films.

Yeah that was leaked a couple years ago...as an alias "checkmate"
alot of assumptions have been made after the Axl online chats that this is a clip of the general you can read everything we know about that song here
Its a little longer than the checkmate leak. He sings the first lyric of the next verse, the word all, in this one and didn't in the old one. Som1 is trying to tell us they have the full song or at least more of it

He having a laugh man. Iys obviously a parody of the whole NAMM convention musicians interviews. Hes saying he doesn't believe in all that stuff- obsessing iver the equipment and what not..... YA know the guy who made and uploaded that vid has prob seen bucket without the mask

I'd like to add I have spent 1 night in a cell because I refused to allow a friend be arrested for something he didn't do. That was my choice. It doesn't mean that I would look on any other person as less for making the opposite choice, thats just whats good for them.

James we see eye to eye on that. You don't rat and it simple. I spent 2 nights in a jail cell cause of that code.
Big Strong man.... 2 nights in a cell for a just cause does not make you more honourable than me. It simply defines your principles.
You do what you believe is best for you and speaks of who you are as a person. If you believeing defending your friend by not reporting is best for you and defines who you are then do that.
If you think reporting someone is is what speaks most truthfuly of who you are and is whats best for you then do that.

Matt and Dizzy don't count as far as I'm concerned. And I don't think Izzy really has a slant one way or the other. He seems to get along with both sides.
Did he ever play on stage with Vr? I think he might have not sure.
Well Izzy Left Gnr when Slash and Duff were there.
He also left the earliest form of VR, the project, when Slash and Duff were there..... See a pattern
He has played onstage with Axl. Not so sure bout him playing with VR

you are basically saying that duff had no creative input to gnr and was just cashing in off of other peoples talents...that he just happened to be in the right place at the right time...i say bullshit
NO I dno't think he was just trying to cash in. I think he loved being in guns with Axl and Slash and believed in that lineup.
I think he would (and did) bend over backwards to keep that core intact.
If that meant doing only Axls material for the next album fine. If it meant doing only slash's that was fine too. I think he was willing to compromise on his own creative input for what that album in order to keep the ship afloat.
I don't think he would have carried on like this for subsequent albums as he is a great talent, with a lot to offer, and aware of that. I just think at that point he would have sacrificed his own creative input for the ultimate survival of that line-up. Had the bridges between Axl and Slash been mended I believe he would then have reintroduced his ideas to the fold, when things were back on track.
The interview quotes, on this board, with Duff from that period seem to backup my claim
