My thoughts exactly. There’s nothing logical when it comes to GN’R…

It's just more a case of thinking how random old re recorded material can be useful to the money making machine of touring. Think like a record company

Not quite. If the band releases something 2024 of course I'm gonna listen.
The other thing of course is a FULL reunion. I'd love to see Axl Slash Duff Izzy and Steve play again. In fact, if they are playing Glastonbury that would have been a really cool idea although impossible to get tickets
I think, with Glastonbury, they normally announce in March, so I would expect everything to be announced at that time or leading up to it.
I think, with the unreleased material, the label will probably use it for promotional purposes, so it'll be between the announcements and the tour dates. I'm just guessing, but it's the logical thing to do

Quite alot of bands play BST and Glastonbury. To be honest, I'm was surprised when they announced BST, because they tried to arrange it years ago after Coachella, but it never worked out. So anything is possible I guess
Duff confirmed on his Sirius radio show they are playing Glastonbury.
Amazing really, it's an old and iconic festival, I honestly thought I'd never see the day.
We're just waiting on the rest of the dates now and the two slotted releases. They'll obviously use these for publicity I assume.

An industry news text went around claiming gnr are at Glastonbury next year with Arctic Monkeys and Elton John, Gnr on the Saturday, and the Glasgow date is still open, according to promoters. And there is no forthcoming solo Slash material or tour on the horizon, so it looks like GNR are possibly touring next year, at least. The online German dates and Oslo are fake though
Efestivals have changed the status for GNR and Arctic Monkeys to TBC for Glastonbury, they tend to know the headliners, so it looks like the text was right. There are also other stories around in other European countries of GNR playing, so it looks like dates are getting booked. Still nothing from the record label about future releases

Managers have pushed in the past, but Axl ultimately went with family. It is what it is.
We have the reunion now, but that, and many things, could have happened earlier.
Any more rumblings re new music buddy?
Just what Slash said, it's repeated if u ask

It's all a bit warped, but it's also fitting in it's own peculiar way.
In the absence of any music, it was all of us, the fans, that kept the ball rolling for GN'R in our own peculiar way, and this story completes the circle really, all the GN'R forum pantomime villains being involved in this, all familiar names if you have been around since the beginning.
I know it was a negative for the band at the time, but they moved on, made up and reformed, then went out and made money from touring, so it's not worked out too bad for them, and for the fans, it gave an insight into Axl's world, which, when combined with all the interviews and stories over the years allowed those that followed the band to have an insight into the difficulties Axl had making CD.
I think when he came onto the forums, he came with a message, but this whole saga told the story far better in it's own way

Sorry for the delay. It's just what Slash said, the label and management have planned releases. The delay is caused by the backlog caused by covid. As before, although summer dates are planned, the online German and Oslo dates are fake. It's supposedly a wham bam tour, minimal dates in the countries concerned.
GN'R are rumoured for the last day of Pinkpop, to make up for the cancelled concert in 2020
