Oh, give me a break. Like you "understand" him. No one understands him, not even us, his hardcore fans. There's nothing to understand because nothing makes sense. I'm as hardcore as it comes, I've supported him and he's just made me look like a god damn fool.
And for those who can't read the english fucking language. I don't want leaks just for the sake of new music. I love CD and am totally content with it. I want Axl to be neutered. Yeah, it sounds vicious, but I'm sick of being played like a fool. You guys have seen me support CD and Axl and Bucket here, but he doesn't give a shit to promote his own CD, so why should I continue to look like a dumbfuck backing a paper tiger.
Some of you think we're being ungrateful, just wait until we all really turn on him. I'm a fan. Hard to believe, isn't it?
How have you been played like a fool? You may have allowed yourself to become a pathetic fanboy, but that isn't Axl's fault. Grow the fuck up you double talking jive motherfucker!
There is nothing different going on here other than he delivered the album, which is a positive. Axl is Axl and he is the same Axl he's always been. If you want security go join up to KISS and AC/DC's fan club and be content. GNR is an unpredictable roller coaster, and it seems you're about to puke. Go play in the kiddie pool!

If nothing else, the songs need to be liberated so that Axl has nothing left in his arsenal. Force him to move on.

I concur with everything GNRBABY's said so far. I'm an avid vinyl collector of both new and old material. I have a top shelf set up and I too experience skips throughout the CD vinyl.
I have adjusted the weight gauge on my stylus (needle) arm and this eliminated 60% of the skips. I discussed this with a vinyl geek friend tonight, and he said it should have been put on 4 LP's, not squeezed onto two LP's. The information is ultra compressed, thus leaving tighter grooves for the needle and compromising the sound. (notice IRS in particular sounds like shit, but has no skips)
If you don't have a weight gauge attach a penny or quarter to your stylus...

A: HTGTH sucks ass, it's like living in Cuba. /jarmo is a punk and so are all the people who kiss his ass. It pains me to think that average people visit that site and thnk that is how all GNR fans behave. I read the news and lurk for 4.2 seconds every 2 weeks, thats all those bozos will get form me.
B: Chinese Democracy got good reviews and has sold a respectable amount of copies. It think it a great album. We haven't heard anything from GNR yet, and it's been less than two weeks, so stop getting your panties in a bunch! Man up! CD is here! 2009 will bring more concerts, riots, and cancelled shows, plus more album sales! Nothing has changed about Axl. He's the same Axl he's always been, I'm suprised you're shocked by his unconventional reaction to CD's release. Do you expect him to be on Opra?! This is GNR for christsake - it's gonna get bloody!

The vultures are already circling the carcass that is this version of GNR, so let's just get it all over with now. Fuck it; why not?
There ain't gonna be a 2nd CD from this era, and with the stink of death on it, no future collaborators will want to work with what Axl did. There's no future for those songs, and I don't want to wait for the CD retrospective box set in 2025.
So I'm putting in a call to all leakers/hoarders/whoever, if they exist, to help hasten the enevitable and put everything into circulation. Don't underestimate that Axl may have made some incredibly powerful enemies the past few weeks who might have stuff too.
I want the General, Bucket's version of Shackler's, Checkmate, every track Brain touched, rerecorded Appetite. (Yes, I know, all of this may not exist.)
We all need to wash our hands of this era, but I think we waited for more than the trainwreck we have now.
I like Chinese Democracy, and it doesn't have the "stink of death", give it a year before you start saying stuff like that. No, it isn't lighting the world on fire, yet it's not a dead issue either.
A lot of people on this site are acting as if it sold 87,000 copies and Axl had to cancel his tour, and every rock mag had panned the album!
CD has gotten good reviews and has sold a respectable amount if copies, even if we don't consider the current state of the music business. This record will certainly go GOLD and one day it will most likely hit Platinum, especially if their is a successful tour in 2009.
I think if it was not a "Best Buy" exclusive it would have sold an additional 200,000 it's first week...
That being said, yes I'd love to hear all the leaks! But stop this doomsday shit, it's not doomsday for GNR/Axl
