Has anyone here ever heard about or read about an unreleased song named "Eulogy of a Broken Heart"? Zombux, I'm wondering if maybe you have because this dates back to the early 2000s on the chinesedemocracy.com forum. I've read that it's an actual song but then I've also read where it's just the working title for a song.

Actually if the full version of the ITW remix leaked I'd be happy since we did get a bunch of alternate versions of songs in the last few months. After listening to the 2001 demos from Chinese Democracy I really wish the album would've dropped back then. I haven't found a single song from the album where I prefer the album version to any of the 2001 demos that have leaked.

just check my sheet again, you'll see the timeline. IRS was of course the first leak, it was first played in 2003 by Mike Piazza, later it was leaked by darknemus in 2005 in very poor quality, and finally in February 2006 in good quality, together with Better, TWAT and the instrumentals.
some weeks after that, the "1999 demos" were leaked - CITR, IRS, TWAT and excerpt of "Checkmate".
One of my friends constanly busted my chops over the years when demos would leak and rumors would surface that the album was going to be released and it wouldn't end up being released on those rumored dates. I made sure to send him a picture of the display at Best Buy when I bought a copy the day it was released LOL.

IRS was the first leak that I heard. Back then I found it on limewire, aka the poorman's napster.

It's Axl's band, and true to form, they tour for living and generally release things when they get ambushed to do so.

Maybe Mike Piazza has another CD with unreleased songs on it? LOL. Another bizarre chapter in how some of these songs were leaked, a former MLB catcher had a CD with Chinese Democracy demos on it.

you can say "THANK YOU" to hoarders' mind games, trying to scam one another with releasing half-baked watered down stuff... this started already in 2012 with releasing Better Gone and BITW in complete versions, then in 2013 Going Down was released together with the remaining two Betters and then only some "teaser" with 16 seconds of each remaining. the fans have been fucked with for 5 years, while there were some stupid mind games in the background, with some people keeping songs and acting like they are in possession of nuclear vault keys or passwords to US president's office. ridiculous. I hope ITW will be completely out soon, and that's it for me.
Yep, just like those leaks of the Chinese Democracy tracks in I believe it was 2007 where those annoying sounds were added to the tracks as mind games before they were leaked. I agree, hopefully ITW will fully leak soon.

4:09 (or 4:08 as shown in some software) is the legit length. 3:08 is "cut edit".
Does anyone know what the legit length of the If The World remix is?

I wonder if the string of leaks in June might lead to a release? A similar pattern happened prior to the release of Chinese Democracy. Or, no release is imminent and people that have had the rare stuff are feeling that those songs are losing their value.

Why are the remixes of ITW and Shackler's considered incomplete? They sound like they come to a clean end, has someone mentioned through a "source" that they are incomplete?
