I was more thinking Lofton, Jarmo, myb MSL, (there was a poster Mike Giulana on HTGTH back in like 05 who broke his wrist & was outta work for like 3 months, and had something like 10,000 or 30,000 posts in that time, then kinda dropped off once he went back to work) and kinda stories within stories. For instance, like what went down at this site with its 1st year creator (Essentially he just gave up & dropped it one day and it shut down, Kinda, there may be more to it but thats the jist of it), we all logged on & it was gone (found out back on HTGTH subforum kinda bout what happened & those who worked to get one back online). I'm sure MyGnr has its stories & issues. The one that closed (cd.com or gnfnr.com?) & of course HTGTH being the king & almighty of all Guns forums.
Just the whole concept of grown ass men following a message board for 15-20 years on Guns N Roses, a band who put out really 1 album since 1991 is hysterical. Kinda like comic book nerds, Trekkies, or baseball card collectors. Alot of people would have never guessed there even are GnR message boards (or fans diehard enough to follow). I spoke to someone who plays guitar about Bohemian Rhapsody movie, and he said he's a big Brian May fan. I asked him if here ever heard or knew of the CITR solo? He had no idea what I was talking about and laughed when I said there's ppl on the Guns N Roses message boards who were pissed it didn't make the CD album, and that its like the holy grail of post-Slash GnR solo's. I sounded like a flake.
The whole MSL 2006 swindle is an amazing story.
Anyway, its kinda like one of those dumb thoughts, but I think it is pretty remarkable & would be eye opening to most of the public.
LOL I myself am one of those grown ass men that is on the GNR message boards. The one thing I always wondered about the people on the various forums I've been on over the years that have thousands of posts was how many of them have those posts because they are actually people that are knowledgeable about either Guns N' Roses, unreleased material, are a person with inside scoops on what the rest of us didn't know as opposed to the other people with thousands of posts that simply have thousands of posts by commenting on everything they possibly can just to drive that number of posts up so that people will think they are some kind of an insider?

Oh dude, Hard School?? It's like Top 5 on CD I'd think. Personally the 1 minute leak was a bit better than the song, the best minute lol, but the songs solid. Better than Chinese Democracy the song, the list goes on but yeah it beats half the songs on CD for sure. Could've been a change of era, myb Axl felt it was more a post-UYI lineup or late 90s/2002 track. I dunno, but the song rocks.
Where'd they get the guitar solo, Slash's Libertad kazoo?
LOL good question about the guitar solo. Yep, could've been top 5 on CD I'll agree with you there. I'll bet if we are fortunate enough to have Atlas leak that we will be saying the same thing about that song as well. I think this would've been a great single release to build hype for the release of CD.

i'm in the minority, but I actually enjoy the remixes LOL. Then again I enjoy listening to anything new from GNR....by new we'll go with unreleased since nothing has been released since the 2012 Vegas residency live album.

Has anyone here ever heard about or read about an unreleased song named "Eulogy of a Broken Heart"? Zombux, I'm wondering if maybe you have because this dates back to the early 2000s on the chinesedemocracy.com forum. I've read that it's an actual song but then I've also read where it's just the working title for a song.

Actually if the full version of the ITW remix leaked I'd be happy since we did get a bunch of alternate versions of songs in the last few months. After listening to the 2001 demos from Chinese Democracy I really wish the album would've dropped back then. I haven't found a single song from the album where I prefer the album version to any of the 2001 demos that have leaked.

just check my sheet again, you'll see the timeline. IRS was of course the first leak, it was first played in 2003 by Mike Piazza, later it was leaked by darknemus in 2005 in very poor quality, and finally in February 2006 in good quality, together with Better, TWAT and the instrumentals.
some weeks after that, the "1999 demos" were leaked - CITR, IRS, TWAT and excerpt of "Checkmate".
One of my friends constanly busted my chops over the years when demos would leak and rumors would surface that the album was going to be released and it wouldn't end up being released on those rumored dates. I made sure to send him a picture of the display at Best Buy when I bought a copy the day it was released LOL.

IRS was the first leak that I heard. Back then I found it on limewire, aka the poorman's napster.

But once you pander a loon, there's no end to it. He'll have another BS excuse tomorrow as to why these things should go unreleased. All n' all, seeing HOB vids next to NITL ones underscores the Pyrrhic victory therein.
It's Axl's band, and true to form, they tour for living and generally release things when they get ambushed to do so.

Maybe Mike Piazza has another CD with unreleased songs on it? LOL. Another bizarre chapter in how some of these songs were leaked, a former MLB catcher had a CD with Chinese Democracy demos on it.
