In Shackler I put the "darker alcoholic voice" like main voice.

Please somebody make  a "2002 version" of SOD

Have you heard this:

Thanks for sharing that russtcb.  I can tell you what 2008 Intentions wants that is missing from that version, and I would like to have it on there too.  At 1:49 and again at 3:02 at "I don't know just what I should do", another guitar would kick in and run until "don't live inside of you anymore......"

I think it goes:

F#, C#....., F#, C#....., F..., F#, F, D#, F#.....
F#, C#....., F#, C#....., F..., F#, C#, D#, C#, B......

They played it live back in '01 and '02.

Thanks for sharing, Manets.  The effort was appreciated.  I don't know if I understand the purpose of remixing just for the sake of remixing.  Instead maybe, take the original and make it what people want(ed) to hear - adding a drum intro to Scraped, or adding the guitar intro and guitar fills to The Blues, for example...  But taking Shackler's or Scraped and just changing them doesn't make sense to me.  I'll give your mixes a few more listens because I truly respect the effort and appreciate the split tracks, but I don't think they will get much attention in this particular forum.  Most importantly, remember that anything you mix should be for yourself.  If you expect the GNRevo world to fully embrace your remixes, prepare yourself for a letdown, no matter how good it is.  PM me with your work if/when you find that to be the case.  I'll always give your hard work my honest opinion, if you want it.

Yep, that would be me.  Goodfellas I love, but I decided to vote for the one I put in my DVD player most often.

Really tough one but Casino by a hair.  That plus I recently discovered that Tarentino "borrowed" the famous dancing scene from another film.

Tarantino "borrows" far too much.  Reservoir Dogs is a  scene-for-scene ripoff of a Hong Kong movie called City on Fire.  You wouldn't believe it if you saw it.  Kill Bill was Bruce Lee's Game of Death.  There was a lawsuit against him for stealing Grindhouse.  He's the Vanilla Ice of screenwriters.

Nonetheless, I chose Pulp Fiction.  Entertaining as hell.  I saw it opening weekend, and half the packed theater had left within an hour.

I'm sure you are right Neemo.  It's just that my perception was that when the score was tied 3-3, you wrote:

"k someone break the tie...wonka or blazing saddles"

So I wrote:

"Good Bye Willie Wonka!"

I must have just missed (or misunderstood) something.  No big deal.  There are days when my perceptions are a bit out-of-focus.

I can't believe I said "Good bye Willie Wonka" as the last voter in the pre-battle, and then I come to this thread and the movie that lost in the pre-battle is somehow here.  It was the Bilderberg Group, wasn't it?

How is it that I voted off Willy Wonka in 70's Pre-battle -- and even got karma for it - and it is currently in this tournament?  Worse yet, it is bewilderingly WINNING against a far superior film that is almost universally considered one of the best 5 films ever created...  Is today backwards day?  Did gremlins invade GNRevo?  Did I take the "red pill" last night?  How deep does this rabbit hole go?
