Over here Kool has had a similar thing with a brand called Kool Boost. First saw them handing out samples about 6 months or so ago. Menthols are pretty big in Asia so I guess they decided to try them out here first.
i just looked it up and sure enough, R.J. Reynolds makes both Kool and Camels.
On a related note, I'm at about a month since I quit smoking altogether and it feels great. 
Did that shit for far too long.
