this reminds me of supporting the England football team.
you will sweat blood & do anything to see them win things, but when they keep fucking up,  a side of you wants them to start losing. i'm feeling that now of gn'r.
how many more times can he do this?

it would be utter cat-shit if the bbc didn't show anything of the headline act @reading,.......unless the ginger nutjob has stepped in & fucked the fans off again.

Kind of sad to see this day come.  I've seen it coming gradually over the years and predicted it long before it started, but the actual downfall is really sad to watch.  People that you couldn't have paid in the past to say anything negative are now bordering on negative and are at the very least seeing what a lot of people have been seeing for awhile.

I've always admired the people that supported the new band in a strange way.  I guess part of me wished that I could only see the positive and ignore the rest of it, so as crazy as I thought some people were, part of me was really envious.

great, honest post.

i totally agree with you about the downfall, i can see reading & leeds being very cringeworthy, hell, if it's televised (bbc three uk normally cover big festivals) we may witness meltdown infront of our own eyes.

it's the most downloaded album at a particular music torrent site, with lots of love for it.

i think it's going to be a good one.

I don't "know" by any means.

But I think the main difference is that most leaks are from albums that are about to come out.  Finished, discs pressed, just sitting on a shelf waiting to come out.  The GNR leaks were of songs still being worked on, which is much more rare.

That's my impression as wel...

Imagine you're a famous painter and you're working on a new piece of art and someone breaks into your house, takes a picture/copy of your unfinnished work and spreads it to the world saying "Hey guys, look! It's the new painting he's been working on for 15 years!!"

If you're the artist, you would most likely be upset and go: "WTF!? It's not even done yet, and the picture/copy is of crappy quality.... Who the fuck did this to my precious!!?? Where's my legalteam?!" 17

It seems to be a different story when the art is 100% done, pressed and ready to be shipped around the world....

well, the painter would probably repaint the whole picture, take everything good out, saturate it so it looks like a mess & release it against his will.

sound familiar?
