Vinnie Paul needs to realize Phil didn't kill his brother, nor did his words instigate the actions of a deranged psychopath. I'm not saying Phil was never a dick, but this media assault on his name since the shooting is really misguided. Personally, I think Phil has shown true remorse and was devastated all the same. And no disrespect, but Dime's girlfriend needs to stay out of the press and just stop talking. All that said, to see Vinnie jam with Phil or Rex again I hope would be in the vein of coming out to do a few songs with Down a la Izzy and the new Guns. I don't ever want to see a Pantera without Dimebag and I certainly don't want to see the three of them in an all new band. That would be too awkward.

I thought Nikki Sixx was gonna be on it, too. Oh well, still looking forward to this.

Slash, who peeled into Axl's driveway just as the deal was about to be signed. He was there to tell Axl that Duff was spineless, Scott Weiland was a fraud, and that Matt was most likely a homosexual. Axl, having always known this about Matt, declared himself "the stronger." This prompted Weiland's involvement in the saga. Round Two had begun....

He's also been declared the winner of Hawaii, with a 700% increase in turnout over 2004 and just over 50% reporting back.

Except for Axl who used a photo of the Predator. Jealous, Robin rebelled and fashioned himself a full blown gypsy. Confused, Axl briefly thought Izzy had rejoined the band. Hurt by the truth, Axl sought out the real Izzy, asking him for coffee but then blindsiding him with a nearly three hour interrogation in regards to his leaving GN'R. In his argument, Axl used extensive, handwritten notes compiled by himself since 1982 detailing just what....

It looks pretty cool. I appreciate the Depeche Mode nod and I always thought Sorum had a good sense of style. He really came into his own during VR. That said, as far as well-dressed rockers with their own clothing line, I'm still sticking with Nikki Sixx. Man knows how to dress, and Royal Underground has some badass stuff.
By the way, who's the guy dying to be Johnny Depp on the Sorum Noce site?

They found those Butterball turkey bastards sexually abusing the birds in the slaughterhouses. They'd have contests to see who could crush their skulls in the least amount of stomps. They were still alive. The more I find out about this shit, the more becoming a veggie man appeals to me. Zombie's got the right idea.

I actually loved "Oh My God" from the first listen, which was sitting in the theater during the credits of "End of Days." Naturally, I bought the soundtrack. Color me crazy, I've always liked industrial metal. I didn't find "Oh My God" to be quite as industrial sounding as people seemingly unfamiliar with the genre think it is. It was just ... a very interesting progression for GN'R at that time. Sort of unexpected, but I dug it. I love the layers upon layers of guitars and distortion and just ... madness. But it's controlled madness. It's arrangement is really interesting to me. Fuck the backpeddling "It was basically a demo" bullshit. It should have had a bigger impact. It should have been a proper single with a video and "Chinese Democracy" should have followed shortly thereafter. Killer lyrics, too.
