I wouldn't be surprised if Axl uses this as an excuse. Is it a valid one? Not really. People will spend just as much. We live in a consuming society.

It'll do huge numbers because of the exclusivity deal. Remember it's how much the stores buy not how much they sell. And BB must have a minimum of albums they must buy in that deal which will garantee GNR the no 1 spot.

Of all those releases I know I will only be buying CD.
But I'm not the average consumer. You guys have to remember that alot of shopping that gets done that week is for Christmas gifts. Kids (and old GNR fans) aren't going to have this album on their Christmas lists.
It's my opinion that they're gonna have a hard time moving units to many people outside of these forums. The average, curious music listener is going to take to the torrents to hear it.
If and that is a HUGE IF CD comes out on Nov 25th it'll be /1 because it's a BB exclusive.

Axl stopped during LALD told the crowd to go get a fucking refund, threw the mic and left. A huge riot soon followed. Also Metallica couldn't finish their set due to serious injuries sustained by James Hetfield when a pyro went wrong. Axl could've been the hero that night instead he chose to be an asshole.

Man this thread is making me jealous. 9 times? wow. And then the metallica/gnr shows. I've seen tallica and gnr live...but not in the same gig...that would be insane.
It was insane for me trust me. And not in a good way. That was the only show that after I was sorry that I went to.

*lmao* That's why I find it hypocritical to blast MSL regardless what we might think of him. We all listened to the leaks. Only leaks I haven't listened to is the RB 2 version of SR and the BB leaks. I truly believe we're near the launch pad just that it won't be in 08. I can't see why it will not be released this year, I can't wait to hear the excuse but 08 will not be the year in my opinion. Maybe 09.
