Well, I don't think he's gonna be able to keep those visitation rights at this rate.

Makes the taco I enjoyed during Rock of Love sit that much easier.

#1103 Re: The Sunset Strip » Has a Song ever made you cry? which one, when and why? » 905 weeks ago

Von

Guns N' Roses is the only band that consistently puts me in a mood better than the one I was in before I turned them on. GN'R can be a nice way out of a lot of shitty feelings. That said, the album Mechanical Animals, in its entirety, has made me cry and continues to make me very emotional whenever I listen to it. It's my favorite album.

Anselmo's the man. Always has been. 'Nuff said.

#1105 Re: The Sunset Strip » Ernest P. Worrell (the movie series) » 906 weeks ago

Von

Those ones you mentioned are pretty much the only ones that matter. Yes, Ernest kicks ass. Brings me back every time I watch one. Obviously, Scared Stupid is my favorite. I saw most of them in the theater, but once they started going straight-to-video I sort of lost interest.

#1106 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Are/Were you a Scott Weiland/STP Fan? » 906 weeks ago

Von

Longtime fan of both. My favorite STP albums are "Tiny Music...Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop" and "Shangri-La Dee Da," not always the most popular choices. I love Weiland's elastic vocals and glam-tastic stace presence. Also, I think "12 Bar Blues" is criminally underrated. Weiland is one of the best post-80s, big time rock 'n' roll frontmen.

Last night the word came down
Ten dead in Chinatown

Seriously, the world is going or has gone completely mad.

#1108 Re: The Sunset Strip » Wes Craven to return with "25/8" » 906 weeks ago

Von

I believe it. Red Eye was pretty damn good, though. In a surprising, "Wes Craven doesn't make the best movies anymore and I have no expectations but still support him" kind of way that made it far more enjoyable than it may have otherwise been. But I love Wes, I've got a lot of respect for the man. I hope this works in his favor to further his genre legacy. People think he's overrated, but I tend to think the opposite. For every five fans who love Craven, ten more outspokenly hate him. But c'mon, you think it's only about "A Nightmare on Elm Street"? How about "The Serpent and the Rainbow"? That's a classic. And I have this very soft spot in my heart for "The Last House on the Left." I always have. Don't ask why. I know it's not the best movie. Blatantly, it's not, but I find it endearing. And so ... thank you. Rant done.

I don't care how much of a cocky dickhead he is, I gotta show some Vinnie Vincent love in this thread. You know that up there's a badass tune. KISS Army, baby 9

I thought this was gonna be about London, Nikki Sixx's old band, reuniting. Damn.
