I'm sure I don't have to ask, but...  You'll let us know as soon as there's a nailed down date right?

Thanks for the info, and sample.  Awesome.

He says himself he's not for everybody, but if you like your comedy edgy, for lack of a better word, I don't think it gets any better than Doug Stanhope.

If you're even remotely easily offended don't watch this, as I said he's not for everybody

Ok, I'm evidently not smart enough to insert the video, so here's a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t2mMMp7bjU

If that's not your Cup of Tea, you can't go wrong with Mitch Hedberg.

#1103 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Who doesn't love a little Teddy Zig Zag » 920 weeks ago

I met Teddy after a Col. Parker show.  Couldn't really find a nicer guy, for the 15 minutes or so I talked to him anyway.

He actually told me the story he starts to tell here, but the chick cuts him off/ or the video cuts, whichever it is.

He got the record deal from Samsung and their record company folded before the album actually came out.  At that point he had something like 3 copies of it, and there were like 15,000 in a warehouse somewhere in Korea.

I actually had a copy of it that I had gotten from a used store that said "promotional use only" on it (which basically meant somebody took it from a radio station and sold it to make a few extra bucks).

I had been yelling for Col. Parker to play one of the songs from the album throughout the night, and he came up to me when they were done going "Where the hell did you hear that?"  I showed him my cd, which he signed and told me that story.

Nothing against Frank, but plain and simple Brain is one of the best drummers in the world right now.  Maybe ever.  I think that's all he was saying.

I also found it pretty funny that he took a half-dig at Sorum when he was in the running to sing in Velvet Revolver at one point.

By the way, I'd like Baz to show proof of Paul Stanley canceling shows. I think he did it once in his entire career.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. What shows have Paul Stanley been cancelling?:/ I understand his point, but that was a little silly.

I didn't look it up or anything, but I think Paul Stanley did cancel a handful (maybe more) of shows a year or two ago...  but it was because he was having some kind of surgery.

My memory may be off though.

In Micheal Moore's old series The Aweful Truth he filled an RV with gay guys(called it the Sodomobile) and they were going state to state breaking anti-sodomy laws.

They ran in to Phelps a couple times (this was before the war when they would just do it at gay funerals, not military).  The results were pretty funny.

I would think there's video on the net somewhere, it's worth watching.

not really, slash wasn't on camera much, his guitar was inaudible, Alice Cooper was good though.

You mentioned Cooper along with Slash. Out of curiosity, did they perform together?

quality isn't great, hopefully a better quality one goes up at some point.  Although as I already said, I thought the sound quality off the tv was prett aweful.

The sound in general was shit, it had nothing to do with the performers, but it sounded aweful.

#1108 Re: The Garden » The NFL 2007-08 Season thread » 922 weeks ago

Yeah, the only reason the Bears have a chance at all right now is because the NFC is so bottom heavy.  They would need to really turn it on while a bunch of other teams simultaniously turn it off.  That isn't out of the realm of possibility yet, but, as someone who watches them every week can attest, even the games they've won, they haven't looked all that good.

#1109 Re: The Garden » The NFL 2007-08 Season thread » 922 weeks ago

That article about the NFC makes perfect sense to me, and it's been that way, just filling in the blanks with different teams for a while(exactly how it was in the AFC in the 80s)

I'm a Bears fan, and last year I said repeatedly during the season that there was no one in the NFC that could touch the Bears(except maybe the Saints), but there were about a half dozen in the AFC that would cream them.

It helps illustrate the point that the Bears and Saints(Ok, the Bears kinda are, but they still look pretty shitty) are neither one in the hunt this year.

I really love Family Feud, I recently have been catching it on The Game Channel, I rock at the bonus round at the end 9

Old Family Fued's are awesome.  You get to watch Richard Dawson seemingly wasted and sexually harrassing EVERYONE.  It's hilarious.
