Agree on it being underrated. I would have loved to hear more stuff in this direction. If Axl could've gotten stuff out more quickly in greater quantity, it would have been really great to hear all the different "eras" they would have gone through.

As much as I get on DJ, that was a pretty good interview. Maybe he'll settle down like others have in the past.
On the other hand, I lean towards believing the "3 albums" hype. There are too many people that have said it for it to be made up. The only reason Axl's backed off it is because he's either lost the will or the confidence to commit to anything anymore.

Since we're posting awesome lyric snippets too, I'll join in with somethign I've said elsewhere: the removal of "Like if your ass was your head you could tell" from the final CD is a travesty. It was classic Axl- hilarious and angry at the same time. Even though some of the studio rants (GITR, KOHD) are over the top and cheesy, the man is a master at turns of phrase.
Axl introduced my young self to the phrase "Suck my ass." (Another HILARIOUS one, considering the next line "I think YOU'RE so low class.)
