Today it's seventeen years ago these two records were released.
Congratulations to current and previous members of Guns N' Roses for creating the incredible Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II.
The second one being, in my opinion, the greatest album ever made.
Chinese Democracy is possibly its only enemy...
You liked UYI 2 better than AFD? Interesting. I don't agree. UYI2 was clearly better than 1 but being the greatest record of all time. I think not. But you are entitled to your opinion.

If James, Neemo, and others say its legit, then its legit. No need to question them and their sources. They wont bullshit anyone.

I keep trying to tell people;
GNR have never been on a official Uni list before. They've been on many lists circulated by other sources but never ever Uni.

Wrong. Like I said it was on the list in 2000. Had even ordered it for my store. It stayed for like 2 or 3 weeks and then it got pulled and never saw it on schedule after that. Back then I tried to learn why it was delayed but never got a clear answer. So madagas it's not prejudice but just that I've been down that road before. I believe that list and believe that James's source or Neemo's or whoever it was is legit, I believe them BUT I do not believe Axl. *lol* We'll have to wait and see. Back in 2000 I cannot remember the date it was supposed to be released but I know it was early Nov. Had I known back then what I know now I would've kept those lists.

Historically, I find that interesting.
Can you remember the month you got the list and the projected time of release?
It was projected for a Nov release and I got that list at mid Sept. It actually stayed on schedual for 3 weeks. Was the only time it was on the list.

Thanks for the list James. But I ain't getting excited yet. I won't believe it till I see it. It was on Uni's list in 2000 and well.... No I do not have the copy anymore but I remember it was on the list back then cause I owned a record store.

There has been no single release or GNR related RB2 promotion of any kind.
It's safe to say he's testing the waters. OMG II.
Oh to me it feels like OMG all over again but some are getting overly excited here.

not true. axl is already a villian in the majority of the public's eye. a villian that intrigues people the same way it offends.
If this would've been picked up by the media more he would've crossed the line of being a villain. Personally at first I kinda felt pity for ths Skwerl guy and I even said I would not buy the album. Since then I have changed my perception a bit. I still think it was not a great move if Axl was behind this but I have no pity for the leaker. But I have no pity for Axl neither. I can only speak for myself but had he announced a release date or released the album I would not have downloaded the leaks. One thing's for sure Axl hasn't picked a good battle here if he is behind the arrest.

I got a PS3, so you guys are making me jealous!
See me I don't mind. The way I see it is I've waited for like 15 years for new music from Axl so I can wait a few months more. I have a PS 3 and Rock Band 2 is what I'm getting for Christmas and I don't mind the wait. I haven't even heard the version in RB2 yet. Since I can buy that song via RB2 I won't download it. But that's just me.
