MIKE PORTNOY, STEVE MORSE, NEAL MORSE, DAVE LARUE Join Forces In New Project - Jan. 3, 2011
Cool news, I guess. We'll see what comes of it.

I believe the big kid got a shorter punishment than the smaller one. I have no problem with that- in all likelihood, the school did it for propriety's sake, and probably agreed with the kid who was being bullied. If I was that kid's dad, I'd take my son to do whatever he wanted for his short suspension- mini-holiday.

Dude is getting seriously weird. Love him to death, but he is clearly a man of extremes.
Too bad he can't embrace the theater of it all, but whatever keeps him on the straight and narrow I guess.

Hey jamester- thanks for all those great videos! I may agree with you on his being in his prime around 87. I think we're around the same age, and I was hugely into the Crue back then too.
It looks to me like they still put oin a good show, but I'm totally not a fan of Vince's singing anymore. I really don't like how he can't slide from line to line anymore- like you said, he seems to be fighting for breath. Nonetheless, they're still cool and pretty good to their fans.

OH! This is that video of a kid who finally snaps on his would-be bully. It's pretty karmariffic.
You can still see it here: http://deadspin.com/#!5782089/revenge-o … es-an-icon

Honest question here- has Vince EVER sounded good live? I haven't seen evidence of it yet. I can tell you the one time I saw him live (solo) his voice was weak and thin. He seems to rely a lot on a falsetto or maybe head voice that he doesn't really have.

Everyone but Wolfgang got inducted, right? So I don't know how they actually work these things. They're as mysterious as the MPAA.

I don't even like KISS and that quote excites me.

^ Agreed. Which leads to two predictions:
1. Axl won't play ball
2. GnR could get passed over if the HOF doesn't want a replay of the VH debacle. Hell, knowing (or NOT knowing to be more accurate) what goes on in their heads, GnR could get passed over anyways for years.

Nikki's obsessed with being hip and artistic and edgy. He's in denial about a lot, from Crue's role in the glam/hair metal scene to how great he is. I used to like him a lot more, but everything he says these days sounds like Poochie the Dog. Seriously, end any of his sentences with "...TO THE MAX!!!!" and you'll get the idea.
