Would a Bernie presidency really be that bad for the oil industry?  I mean,
1. Oil has proven to be inelastic, so even if it's made more expensive by additional taxes, people are still going to buy it, because there still isn't a viable alternative.
2. Even if he blocks areas of expansion, the industry still has room to drill, expand and make money. And any blocks on expansion could very well be temporary depending on need for energy and the availability of alternatives.

The industry is going to be fine, and it's going to be fine for a long time. I think the alarmism we're seeing now from the industry is just driven by the balance sheet and maximizing profits in the short term.

Also, I'm not criticizing you for voting on your best interests, because that's exactly what we should all be doing, but I would like to point out that while your job is very important, so is the environment that you live in and that you will be leaving behind to future generations. I hope you're considering that as well.

This result is good news for a Mike Bloomberg independent run.  We should know by next month if he's throwing his hat in. This is shaping to be quite the interesting race.  ::popcorn::

You're right, the implausibility of your argument does not make the Apollo footage legit. It does however make your argument ridiculous.

In conclusion, we have an orgy of evidence telling us that the Apollo landing was legit, vs a highly implausible argument over why one price of evidence may not be reliable.

Idk about you, but I like orgies, so I'm going to say the Apollo landing was legit.

Right, the "bubbles".

1. The only thing I saw in the video that might be a bubble looked like a spec of dust streaming by...  Debris maybe??  Or a maybe even a ufo in the distance since we're talking conspiracy theories.  I'd hardly say it speaks for itself.

2. This has nothing to do with China's 2010 probe, which is not being disputed.

3. Russia and Japan have also confirmed the moon landing... So are they also in on a massive global conspiracy?

Lol, countries are just faking moon landings left and right now.  You got me, that's obviously the most plausible explanation.

They also had the option to show the pictures. Why even bring America into it if all they want to do is dazzle their own people? Because it is directed at the international stage, and few headlines would be better than "China revisits Apollo site", if they had the pictures that is.

There could be any number of reasons for them not wanting to release a photo, and that still doesn't take away from the fact that they didn't have to say anything at all. But they did.

(Classic Rock) Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine says he is considering re-recording the band's biggest hits with the current lineup. Asked whether he had given any thought to re-recording 1985 debut Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good with bassist Dave Ellefson, drummer Chris Adler and lead guitarist Kiko Loureiro, the frontman says that isn't on the cards.
But he did say he could be tempted to capture some of the band's classic songs with the fresh lineup. Mustaine tells Musik Universe in a new online video interview:

"If I did go back and record any old songs, it would probably be like a brand new interpretation of our greatest hits, because I think that focusing on any one record and showing an interpretation of all of our great songs by a new lineup would be more exciting. You never know. We might do that." Watch the full interview here: http://classicrock.teamrock.com/news/20 … assic-hits

@James - I'm no expert, but none of this stuff about the Van Allen belt seems to be solid proof that the moon landing didn't happen.  NASA knew about the belt, and about solar radiation, and shielded for it. It's possible they underestimated how strong the radiation was, but from what I've read about it, the problem with the belt had to do with long term exposure - it began to interfere with satellites.  so further research maybe needed for the safety of long term space missions.

Again, I'm no expert, but that seems like a much more plausible explanation to the perceived discrepancy, than a far reaching conspiracy. Especially when there is such an orgy of evidence that supports that it actually happened, and other theories that were debunked.
