The thing I find a wee bit disappointing is that they're basically "locked in" to the setlist because of all the video walls, pyro etc. There's no way for them to jam or whip out an unexpected cover. Like, they couldn't bust out a Rolling Stones jam to mark the passing of Charlie Watts?
They aren't locked into shit. It's a two-day turn around at minimum between shows.
You write a check and viola! New video boards and everything else.
This is even more ABSURD! when you consider some or all of the VFX company is traveling with them.

As did the strokes and many others. But doing it in 2021 and in relation to the song is just rock n roll defiance.

I hope Pitman had a good lawyer and at least got paid for a buyout.

Can someone explain to me the actual argument for being anti-vax?
TL;DR: The ruling establishment has been provably lying through their teeth to people since this thing started.
Can someone explain to me the actual argument for being anti-vax?
The term "anti-vaxxer" is a propaganda term. It is applying social shame to ostracize the individual and send a warning message to the group that if they themselves stray from the official narrative or support those who do, they will be punished. Religions do this all the time: they call others deviants, heretics, infidels, no true scotsman, and so on.
The media won't tell you that in May 2021 50%+ of the CDC's staff was unvaccinated or bring on credentialed doctors and epidemiologists from reputable institutions (as if that actually mattered to real science) to discuss their views. It's using a boogeyman, ie: magnet lady or fat guy from the trailer park to shame you into submission. So in the face of propaganda in both methods and execution, why would you not be suspicious?
Notice how only one side of them is painted as anti-science. I also get a chuckle out of how the side that believes women have penises calls the other side anti-science..
Because modern leftism is merely colonialism to dress up its real goal: the accumulation and preservation of power.

I like Evo, it has the best actual discussion of the band's music and the Chinese era judgment free.
But in case anyone didn't notice Gn'R is the most corporate rock band out there.
Axl's jokes are the same, the setlist is the same, the solo spots are the same, and so on. I respect a "good product" but night-to-night threads would basically be "are they playing Hard Skoooooooo tonight"?
It's the least creative, least interesting, least dangerous band out there.
Axl releasing Absurd was the funniest and coolest thing he's done in three decades. The only way it could've been any better is if the album cover was a photograph of a woman's crotch.

It depends on what they have to work with.
This is what I'd personally be interested in and think is likely:
Disc 1&2
Remastered
Disc 3
Sketches, ie: Estranged trilogy
Demos / alts
Adler versions
Disc 4
UYI "best of" minus mixes
Disc 5
TSI

Whatever they're planning.....better save some of it for TSI.
I realize this might be needed to pad out a UYI box set.
Yeah dude. Lies is actually something people would want and they rolled that into the AFD box set.
Re-releasing TSI independently would be amongst the dumbest things they've done.
But I was more or less wondering "what if they actually released CD2 as UYI III".
UYI has brand recognition with the old segment of fans. It would bring in press.
Wouldn't set the world on fire but it's be apart of the "GNR brand".
And I was kinda thinking they could bundle it together with UYI I and II, thus inflating their sales numbers.
In my view they have a couple of plays: calling it UYI III, re-releasing Chinese Democracy as a 2-disc set, or something so outlandish it becomes a meme like Legend of the Red Panda or Joe Biden Likes Sniffing Little Girls.

What is the thing casual fans would want most from this box set?

The anniversary would be a great time to drop a new album called Use Your Illusion III.
Stop making sense. It hurts the locals' feelings.
