Looks like Slash could be opening for Aerosmith on June 15th in the O2 London. Please God let it happen!

Are we listening to the same songs?

The quality in these are alot better. I think they're amazing. No one has ever covered these songs so well to be able to do them justice. Hearing Slash play these again with a singer that can do them justice has breathed new life into them.

I really hope this is true. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I can actually agree with what a lot of the guys on this board are saying. I can't help but feel overall underwhelmed so far. I'm starting to find that songs that seemed amazing in the 30 second previews are dissapointing in full, and I get the feeling of 'what could have been' so to speak. Thats just my opinion, and it could be a little early for that kind of criticism yet. Hopefully the other Myles Ozzy, Cornell, and Fergie songs can turn it around.

Was a little dissapointed with this..until it got to the solo...which blew my fucking mind. Awesome vocals (although sometimes a little too high and enter mika territory) but nonetheless great harmonies and an overall impressive track. Can't wait for "Back From Cali."

Anyone know if the whole thing leaked yet? I notice the Japanese release date has been pushed back to the 31st.

Word is Myles Kennedy recorded a track for Slash's album! Whatever it is, it should be the lead single. For those of you that are unfamilar with Myles, he's the lead singer of Alter Bridge and has his own solo album in the works. Here he is playing a Guns classic.

You know what. I know alot of people think SCOM has cheesey pop lyrics but honestly I like them alot and the way this Myles dude performs this is unreal. The arrangement and the way he sings it is just awesome. I'd love to hear him do a studio version of this. No drums though. just acoustic guitar, maybe some keys and a tiny bit of electric guitar. Would be so amazing! Thanks for posting that A4L2.0

Yeah, he's got awesome harmonies. He makes every song his own.

If you think thats good check out him covering the Leonard Cohen classic, Hallelujah. Even a live Myles performance beats the hell out of the hauntingly beautiful Buckley cover of the song.

Can't wait to hear him and Slash on the one song. Should be awesome.
