I don't have high hopes for a re-release of Chinese, but if it did happen, next year is the logical time to do it. I wouldn't count on a Slash remix, throwing a couple "new" songs on with Slash like Atlas/Checkmate/General or whatever in a deluxe edition could be possible. Like the rumored Greatest Hits.
Shit, could you imagine a new version of OMG with Slash? That could be badass.

gunsnfnroses claims they have atlas shruuged, the general, and today they claim silkworms. how do you prove them wrong? when they're not sharing what they have either but sharing just with themselves by PM only. how do you prove it wrong? as for walker, who else has silkworms on internet? you know something about silkworms we don't know? which gunsnfnroses knows about silkworms? why gunsnfnroses has silkworms? what information do you know about silkworms?
A) Multiple people have Silkworms. Walker got it from MSL. Aside from that, I have it on good authority that muthafuckas should listen, since it's a song that should be heard.
B) I don't have to prove them wrong. They have to prove themselves right. Gunsnfnroses is a forum full of trolls who have been banned from practically every other GN'R forum, who spend their day circlejerking about Axl being fat. But sure, I'm POSITIVE they have two highly sought after songs that nobody else outside of their own little forum have heard about.
Why is this so hard to understand?

I forgot about that and am angry again.
I still can't believe Axl thought re-releasing DJ Ashba version of CD was ever a good idea.
Fuck this band.
Considering there was never any concrete news of Axl & DJ ever writing together, I'm not convinced he believed it was a good idea. DJ was always saying that he hoped they would get in the studio eventually, and that he showed Axl his ideas, but that doesn't mean Axl thought any of them were good - even if he told them they were to his face. If he really thought they were good, he probably would've given enough of a shit to go into the studio to work on them.
And I remember reading that the DJ version of Better was something he put together himself (makes sense considering it uses the same vocals, which are out of place as fuck).
He may have liked DJ as a person, but I think he was just there to fill a hole, honestly.

It is the exact same thing as posting unreleased music from the legal standpoint.
People like to follow the rules to their convenience. Its just an excuse to be stingy.
