Interesting.  So this latest arrest thing won't hurt sales after all or will hurt vey little.

Skwerl has spoken about his release on www.antiquiet.com he says he was arrested at gunpoint.  Being one that fully believes that GNR supported this and were behind this arrest.  I think this is very excessive for the FBI to arrest this guy at gunpoint or even arresting him.  Don't they have terrorists to catch?  Anyways after reading this I find myself NOT wanting to buy this album anymore because of this.  What about you guys?  Will you buy CD anyways?

Sounds good to me. If that's true, we're closer than we've ever been before.

The only problem for me is the closest Best Buy is two hours away from me.

The closest Best Buy for me is 6 hours.  So I'll order mine from Best Buy's site.

I have no idea who this guy Bob Lefsetz is.  I will not say he is a liar but I still don't believe anything.  I'll believe it when I buy the album and receive it.  And I may build some hope if and or when we get an official statement from the record company.

He's just pissed that Libertad only sold a handful of copies. It wasn't even worth a free download.

I do find it interesting that he immediately jumps to the defense of Axl.

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm...

Karma!  Yep!  First thing that came to my mind when I saw this.  Why defend Axl so quickly.  Let the rumors begin.

Unless we hold it in our hands we just don't know. Even then I'm sure there will be doubters...:haha:

I can totally see it now.  They actually do release it, but theres an error with the printing of the discs.  We all go get it, bring it home, and the disc is empty.

That would actually be pretty funny.  And Axl could say that only the booklet was ready.  But buying CD with no disc.  If it has to happen then I hope it happens to me and that it will be filmed.  The look on my face would be priceless.  I would actually laugh if it happened.

AWESOME! I was REALLY hoping Kiss would put out another GH album one day. Other then the 25 that are already available.

Why hope for yet another greatest hits from them?  Just buy one of the 25 already released.

It could still happen but if it does the announcement is literally days or max weeks away. Release dates for November and beyond are being set and announced daily in the media, if it goes on much longer I think we're looking at 09 but for now there's still a hope for 08.

Hmmm I just got a serious case of deja vu

Yep!  That's why I say Sept 14 is the deadline for this year.  I could be wrong.  But I don't think I am.

there is a reason rolling stone has had several GNR scoops this year . . . THEY GET THEM DIRECTLY FROM AZOFF. the best buy/walmart story was given to billboard by azoff to punish rolling stone for refusing to pull their story about shackler's revenge leaking.

while everyone questioned the legitimacy of the 8/19 report on mistersaintlaurent.com, i got the majority of the information initially from a rolling stone reporter who was upset that azoff had so much influence over how the magazine covered the band.

and this, my friends, is what truth sounds like.
i mean - I'm not THERE - but this is how things go. RS and Billboard are in the entertainment business.

At this point I'll believe MSL over Axl, Azoff or anyone else in the GNR camp.  Ain't that sad?  And this ain't a dig at MSL at all.  But when you have to believe someone not involved in the band at all over anyone else then something is clearly wrong.  More so when you have to get your news concerning that said band from an outside source.  Way to go Axl!  Keep up the good work.
