The continual insertion of GNR management into the day-to-day reporting of GNR news makes me think something has to be going on. This isn't a quiet period. There is a shit-ton of activity going on behind the scenes, for sure.
Nothing is ever for sure when it comes to GNR.

^^
The article has been removed. Azoff strikes again.
Nothing against Azoff but the silent treatment still going on really sucks.

Can anyone post the picture on blabbermouth? Can't see it. Thanks.
#1234 Re: Guns N' Roses » Would you lose respect for the band if they................. » 879 weeks ago
If that happens, I wouldn't buy CD or the new AFD out of respect for the old band. We've lived in the past long enough. If Axl wants to make some sort of bizarre artistic statement with a new AFD, leak it and distance himself from it.
If you say that then why buy tix to see their shows? It's as much a disrespect to the old band as this. If a rerecorded AFD is included with CD, I'll buy the album anyways. Don't mean I have to listen to the bonus disc. But if it was available with bonus disc as well as without I'd buy the one with no bonus disc.

What a safe choice for album titles. Half of them are basically rip offs of prior tracks.
I have zero expectations for this, but I would imagine there's one good song on this.
It is a safe choice BUT at least they have the balls to release an album.
#1236 Re: Guns N' Roses » GNR's 'Democracy' To Be Retail Exclusive? » 879 weeks ago
Unbelievable! We've all been waiting for this album to be released for 14 years and you'll all complain that only Wal-Mart or whoever else can sell it? I don't care if it is sold at the Salvation Army as long as we can buy the frigging album. Sure I don't like Wal-Mart BUT I still buy there at times cause sometimes they have the best price. And yeah I wish I could've bought The latest Eagles album in a record store but I couldn't. At least they released another album. If I have to buy it at Wal-Mart, then so be it. As long as I get the album.

Has anyone considered the possibility that Sorry was simply a working title for the track?
You may have found a pulse here. It could very well be a working title.
#1238 Re: Guns N' Roses » MSL's GnRSource interview transcript » 879 weeks ago
Technically, "Oh My God" was "just an unfinished demo," so you'll have to take that line of reasoning with a huge grain of salt. "Shackler's Revenge" sounds pretty damn mastered to me.
I wonder how many people were naive enough to buy the 'it was just an unfinished demo' for Oh my God?
#1239 Re: Guns N' Roses » MSL's GnRSource interview transcript » 879 weeks ago
Has anyone confirmed that Shackler's/Chicken Dinner is in fact a mastered track and not, in BBF's own words, "just an unfinished demo" like what is said about other leaks?
If the track is not well received you can bet your last dollar that Axl will say it was an 'just an unfinished demo'. He did it for Oh my God and I can't talk for others but I am not dumb enough to believe that. They had to get permission to use that track in End of Days therefore it was a finished track.

gnfnraxl wrote:Many said that if Azoff can't get the album out no one will. Well it appears that no one will. To end this all I have to say to Mr. Azoff is that I hope that the money Axl pays you is well worth losing your respect over.
To be fair to Azoff, he has not been aboard this train for very long. He's just now getting to see how wacky us GNR fans are.:haha:
He should at least be given a year before being completely written off as hopeless.
Just the fact that Azoff is pulling the latest shenanigans for the SR leak tells us a lot. And the silent treatment is not helping either. I ain't saying Azoff is hopeless but Axl is. And I still stand by what I said. I hope the money Azoff is being paid by Axl was worth the hit he is taking in his credibility. But to make it clear Axl is hopeless not Azoff. In the end I guess he is just taking orders from the all mighty Axl.
