I bet even the forum posters you hate, like I think someone mentioned Nesquick, would even be tolerable in person. A lot of the forum enemies would probably become friends.
Nesquick is the only guy or person from any GNR board I would actually kick his ass if I met him. Had I met him before he sent me a virus I would've talked to him no probs. But after that stunt. No way! No matter how much I disagree with anyone on a board. After I leave the site I forget about it. I respect that others will have different opinions and I can take jokes. I do not take anything serious here cause basically I don't know any of you personally as I have never met any of you.

Ouch! I disagree. When I saw them the ONLY song Finck played better than Slash ever did was Seet Child O Mine.
At Hammersmith when Finck butchered Patience there was an audible gasp from many around me and a lot of cringing faces, followed by a lot of head shaking. As for his solo spot - well - it was like a deaf person trying to tune up, whilst on acid. Just terrible - it would've been laughable but to see GNR reduced to that wasnt funny at all. Me doing a solo wouldve been better and I cant play guitar.
So far I havnt heard him play anything better than Slash, and I'm sure thats not going to happen anytime soon. If he's still in the band that is.
He's not a good fit sound wise for Guns, never was, never will be. Hes good in NIN so thats where he should be. Even his recent look in Guns was contrived and fake.
So what was horrible? His patience rendition or his Sweet Child O Mine rendition? And remember on that night he may have had just a fluke performance on Sweet Child O' Mine. His intro to Welcome to the Jungle before the band got on stage was just horrible though. Bucket's was way better. As for the rest of the songs on that night. I wouldn't say he butchered them but he did not do them justice that is for sure. And one last thing. Finck's solo and the one with Fortus was excruciatingly long and awful.

Personally I would love it if Axl was able to bring back Bucket into the fold. And here is why. When GNR started they were a dangerous band and they looked dangerous. I'm sorry but back in the 80's there is no way in hell I would've let those guys in my house. Axl's band now including Axl himself don't look dangerous not one bit. They try to act dangerous by starting late and all but I just don't buy it this time around. Axl doesn't do rants anymore, doesn't interact with the crowd, basically they look like normal people. In comes Buckethead. This guy looks anything but normal and could pass out as being dangerous by rock n roll standards. I'm sorry but if my daughter would come home telling me she wants me to meet her new boyfriend and the boyfriend ends up being Bucket. I am not a happy camper at all. Plus Bucket much like Slash has guitar god like talent and if Axl actually accepted to release new music, people would come to realise that and appreciate it. So while Axl and the rest of the band looks nice and normal, having Bucket in the band would tell people that he can still hang with the baddest of them. In my opinion Buckethead is THE major factor to bring Axl back on top of the world. He has the look and talent to do it.

Solo time and Finck steps up to the plate. Words can't describe how he butchered it. The most simplest and melodic of solos was turned into a tuneless, shapeless, off key mess. All he needed to do was play a few low key blues licks.
I can't even begin to articulate how much I disagree with this thought. I link the way Finck plays the Patience solo best of any I've ever heard.

I wouldn't go simply due to finances. I am saving my money to help pay for my daughter's education. But if not for that I would be down for it. The only person I would definitely NOT be happy to see is Nesquick. Other than that I can't see how someone would make an ennemy in a forum.

So who do you think was behind those new leaks? And do you think the Axl and management will respond to those leaks via GNR's website? And finally. Will this hinder the release of CD?

Well I have to side with Bono here. When I saw GNR in 06 we couldn't hear Axl at all. It was almost like his mic was turned down. I thought it was maybe the arena but it was weird cause when Th Trews played you could hear him perfectly.

Not that I do not believe the reunion rumors but who said Tommy wants out? Did he go public on this?

It's weird, the last two interviews from band members have included quite a lot of GNR info when you compare with interviews from 6-12 months ago. I wonder if the new management has advised they 'loosen the reigns' on talking about GNR and CD in interviews? Whatever the reason I welcome the change, it's great to see members talking about the band and album.
Actually, this interview is from before the Finck departure.
Ask Fortus this same shit now, and you'll likely get "no comment".
Wether that interview was done before or after Finck's departure. I have to take Fortus's defense here. While I do not like Dick I have to give him credit for at least answering questions regarding GNR. And this is where I do not get the people on the boards. He did an interview where he wouldn't even answer a question about who decided on a solo at a GNR concert and everyone myself included blasted him for it, and I do have to say that it was deserved. Dick shouldn't have done the interview or use GNR to promote his other crap if he can't talk about his band. Here he talks about them and people still blast him. Now I'm not saying I believe Dick on what he says about CD cause I don't, then again I wouldn't even believe Axl anymore at this point. But at least he answered the questions, we could at least give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm starting to think that people are never satisfied. And I can't even believe I am defending Dick. While I don't believe this band anymore if they answer questions about GNR I can't cmplain other than the fact that it is all BS.

I have a question that maybe some of you can answer. I know there are some lawyers here on the board. What if a band decided to do a remake if you can call it that of one of the leaks and put it on their albums. Say if NIN decided to remake IRS for example. Could they be sued? What about other released GNR songs. Do you need permission? Thanks.
