Too convoluted a story for us to ever know what the fuck went on, all the egos in there it was bound to be a mess. Matt is the 3rd biggest ego in the band and he's a replacement drummer ffs...

It's soo fucking heavy you gotta wonder how Myles ended up with slash when he's into such heavy shit in his own band.
Man it just goes to show that a heavy ass band can be excellent when they got a good Singer

The live version of TIL is heavy and raw I prefer it personally just cos the album one is a little over wrought at times for my taste.
I'm just looking forward to any new news on this new DVD

DJ and Fortus maybe, but to recreate Slash, sorry you are quite ill, you need help. He`s good, but I wouldn't call him the human dictaphone...
He's been recreating Slash perfectly for the past year all over the world. And I guarantee there were some casual fans who when to the shows, saw Ron and thought "Slash got his hair straightened"
Don't get me wrong it's not a dig at slash. he has a great sound very signature and even when he's just jamming it shines through, no one could ever recreate that.
As for learning a slash solo note for note tone for tone off a record...well.. It ain't rocket science

I know you're being sarcastic, but I do agree I think this has shocked alot of people in some ways. Izzy & Duff both obviously don't have the issue with a Slash-less GN'R that alot people thought they would.
=d I'm not, I find it amazing. No big hulabaloo just two guys meeting burying the hatchet and jumping up on stage to have some fun playing the songs they made great together for the first time in 20 years.
GNR's is a very human story, and what happened in London on the 14th is inspiring.
As a fan, would you say no to a GN'R with...

I personally think Ron would be sent home before DJ. For the simple reason that he is too Good.
When I saw GNR it was pretty obvious that they only needed Ron.

He can play all their parts at the same time on his own
No way would Slash get on stage with a guy who renders him obsolete
Not obsolete in terms of creativity and playing style, because slash is slash
but in terms of the fact that Ron can recreate any of slash's parts and at the same time Dj's and Richard's too
