If this doesn't lead into a ep or album it will fade in a few days and be for nothing. Let's hope my gut feeling is wrong and there's more.
Exactly, positive press, people like the song, #8 on the iTunes chart and climbing I’d have to think. But people’s attention spans are very short. It’ll all be forgotten if they don’t do anything with this momentum. And history tells us, mmm, well.

2021 Axl can’t sing this one. Not a chance.
I’d love to be wrong.
I think he could sing it as well as some of the songs they routinely perform live (Better). But Absurd is easier for him to pull off I guess, so maybe that’s the reason they went with that song first. I’ll give them another shot to play it at the next show now that the song is actually released. If they don’t, we’ve seen this movie before. Going forward in reverse.

It is strange...yet unprecedented.
On the night a new single launches, the alternate they play is the first single they released instead.
I'd love to know who comes up with their setlists. They are fairly static obviously but I'd still like to know who does it.
With Soundgarden, Cornell and Cameron alternates between the two and would come up with that day's set the night before.
I can't picture Axl and Slash doing that...and obviously Fortus, Dizzy, Frank, and Melissa have no involvement.
Maybe Duff and Fernando?!?
Yeah, the strangest part is they dusted off Shadow instead. The only reasonable explanation is Axl hasn’t rehearsed HS with the band and/or didn’t feel comfortable playing it live yet? That’s all I can think of. They sound checked it prior to the show and have been doing so. It seems the band is ready to play it. Well, minus one.

Strange considering how they handled Absurd but maybe since the word is already out there, they don’t feel the need to make an announcement or play it?

Yeah, I noticed that. Strange inclusion. Maybe they scrapped that song or made some wholesale changes. Or they said, F it, we’ll put this part in multiple songs.

They are on PC right now. Not one mention of Hard Skool. Axl kept talking in between songs, faking me out.
I know, right before PC he joked about how long the show could go on. I thought maybe they’d sneak it in there, but no.

How many showed up for the draft?
It's why I stopped participating years ago....half the time I missed it.
It was fun though although I preferred the pick em league we did back then.
I think we had more than half the teams present for the draft. 6 or 7 out of 10 I would guess. It was a crazy night for me so I didn’t track it exactly. I had another draft at 7:30 and that finished around 8:40. Then I tried to help put my daughter to bed before the next draft at 9. Life moves fast.
