Please tell me you don't think the Supreme Court rules based on law and not political leanings....
Also you should probably go back and understand what the ruling said.
What does it matter whether the court leans one way or the other? A) it ruled B) it allegedly has a conservative leaning at the moment.
I never implied I didn't know what EOs are, and who can use them and who can overrule them. That's been Trump's whole shtick...over turning everything Obama. Especially EOs.
I don't understand why you get to assume I don't know this stuff.
lol. What?
This is why you get trashed bro. Where did I say you knew nothing about EOs? You get all defensive and go on the attack about something I never said. This is mitch being mitch.

If DACA could be created legally by executive order, it would appear it can be stopped by executive order. If you think he's overreaching, Obama overreached creating it.

My friend's test came back negative. Since this is day 9 for me and I feel fine (and he's negative), I am not going to get tested. It has been an interesting time for reflection though.

The more I see for the Libertarian party, the more I realize they aren't an option either. Not sure what happened there...
Any other third parties worth a look or should I just skip voting this year?

The calling for bans is ridiculous. The admins are capable of those decisions.
As James said, its not just Mitch...
You're right...we make the mistake of responding to him. That is our fault; allowing mitch back and allowing him to stay though is 100% on the admins.
The only complaint while mitch was gone was that this thread was less active and more boring. Think about that for a bit...

But buzz, your saying he treats everyone like ish but your the only one pounding the drum for banning. Twice.
Relax, flagg & sg are d's to me now and then but i dont go reporting them.
It's self inflicted bro. He did it to himself. I warned him and warned him. He's not even trying to do anything but blast people. Read his posts objectively instead of with rose colored glasses. I told him I was going to do it if he didn't stop and he just kept going. He can't stop. He can't help himself. Dude is mentally imbalanced. Hate is all he knows.
He should have never been allowed back. It took him what, a week to turn back into mitch upon his return? He has nobody to blame but himself. I've never reported you. You say plenty of things I think are stupid. There's a difference between saying stupid things and being a troll with no purpose in posting other than to be a dick.

All one has to do is look at his interaction with Wagzilla to see what mitch is all about. If you agree with him 100%, you're gold. If you have the nerve to disagree with him slightly, you're an idiot.
If he wants to cry about how I treat him, that's fine. He brings it on himself, but whatever. Wags hasn't posted in this thread until a week or so and he got the same treatment as everyone else. No interest in discussion; just interested in telling you how dumb you are if you don't follow him step for step. Does any other person in this thread greet people that way? We all might do that after interactions with people; we don't bury someone entering the discussion without hearing what they have to contribute. Mitch's biggest problem with me politically is that because I think both sides suck equally, I don't stand for anything. When his whole basis for discussion (and I am using that term loosely) is based on a falsehood, you get what you get here.
I don't care that he's a die hard lefty. That's great...I have tons of friends that are. I have tons of die hard righties too. I view them all the same. The extremes on both sides are so similar; yet openly mock people that act exactly the way they do. It's painful to watch otherwise intelligent people act like 2 year olds. So to answer your question, no, it's not possible to discuss like adults.

Take care of urself buzzsaw...consider getting tested
A similar thing happened to me near the beginning of all of this, luckily enough for me and my family i didnt catch it
THanks Neemo. I'll get tested if/when I need to. I don't trust the testing; I can't afford for them to tell me I'm positive if I am not. Too much going on right now. If he tests positive, I'll get one done.

I was feeling shitty and took a test 10 days ago. Still don’t have the results. The testing is atrocious. How can it be effective if two weeks pass before I know if I was positive? By the way, I feel fine now. Probably didn’t have it, but what if I did?
There are so many issues with the testing. The length of time it takes to get results is one. The false positives (and negatives) are a huge issue too.
In your case at this point the test results probably don't even matter, yet it wouldn't surprise me if they force you to isolate for 14 days anyway starting whenever you get the results. Logic hasn't exactly been the driving factor in any of this.
